One whole day after the second group’s arrival (along with one whole day since the dead body’s discovery...), some sort of activity in the warehouse begins. Early in the morning, there is an abrupt squawk of microphone feedback over the loudspeakers (and since when were there loudspeakers?), before a screechy voice makes a terse announcement: “Ahem, ahem, testing. One, two, three, testing! Ooookay, looks like this is up and running. So, you pesky test subjects, what a mess you’ve made! I take my eyes off you for just a moment and this is what happens. You really are a terrible bunch, aren’t you?” The “voice” clicks its tongue three times, letting out a heavy sigh, before continuing. “Anyway, let’s get this all sorted out! Know those elevators back out in the lobby? Well, first of all, they’re not elevators. They’re called Ambidex Rooms, so get it right, but second of all, why don’t you all make yourselves useful for once and step into them? Only one test subject per room, though! You can try to go in with someone else, but we just don’t start. What is that? You don’t want to go in? Then we can do this aaaaaaaaall day, I’m a very patient mouse, I’ll let you know!” And with that, the mysterious announcer goes silent. In fact, they’ll stay quiet until all the test subjects finally enter one of the AB Rooms, no matter how long it take. Once inside, the doors shut close, trapping them all inside..

Because no one remembers how we got here, all we have to rely on are the videos. If those aren't true, we're going to blame someone who didn't do it. It's like...a giant experiment. *The thought only occurred to her as she thought aloud.*

So assuming the video's true, the skirt was probably the dead girl in the uniform and the chaser could be a man or a woman. *It eliminated her with her jacket, shirt and shorts. It did leave a few other candidates.*

It's like we're deliberately not being shown the complete truth.

We weren't even asked to find the truth. Just a scapegoat.

So we have to think about who would most likely kill someone out of all of us? Not even if they did it, but who would likely do it. *She scratched her head out of irritation at the whole stupid business.*

It's like we're being tested.

"Not really... I just couldn't see enough to tell." Her tone is apologetic. Her clue doesn't seem to be all that helpful, huh?

"Hmm. Well, my video had a man wiping blood off of a knife. He had short hair... but all three of us match that description. I'd say yours was much more useful ♦."

Well, I mean. At least Hisoka wasn't wearing sneakers?

Oh. Oh no. Her gaze slowly slides over to Kaidou, horrified.

"It seems that we're in the presence of a very dangerous man." lolol okay no, keeping a straight face. Keeping a straight face.

"B-but... he was so nice to me earlier. It couldn't be him. C-could it...?"

Sure, he seemed rough around the edges, but not exactly murderer material.

"I don't know. We have mostly what you've seen to rely on. ♥" Hisoka didn't seem at all concerned by the idea of a murderer in their midst, though he... probably should have been.

"But the others may have seen something that gives us more perspective."

Orrrr they might have worn pants then changed. I got a t-shirt and a long-sleeve, so someone might have gotten both shorts and pants.

There was a person chasing another person. Then the chasing person returned, alone. I could only see their legs. The person being chased could've been wearing a skirt. The person who walked away wasn't.

"-! That's right! Everyone has clues, so... maybe it was someone else after all!" She sounds so hopeful. Maybe this will turn out okay and bandanna guy won't be it...

You heard me. I'm not going to just sit back and let people say what they want about me.

The girl was being chased? But doesn't that mean the person chasing her was bad?

[It makes more sense for the killer to be the one doing the chasing.]
