One whole day after the second group’s arrival (along with one whole day since the dead body’s discovery...), some sort of activity in the warehouse begins. Early in the morning, there is an abrupt squawk of microphone feedback over the loudspeakers (and since when were there loudspeakers?), before a screechy voice makes a terse announcement: “Ahem, ahem, testing. One, two, three, testing! Ooookay, looks like this is up and running. So, you pesky test subjects, what a mess you’ve made! I take my eyes off you for just a moment and this is what happens. You really are a terrible bunch, aren’t you?” The “voice” clicks its tongue three times, letting out a heavy sigh, before continuing. “Anyway, let’s get this all sorted out! Know those elevators back out in the lobby? Well, first of all, they’re not elevators. They’re called Ambidex Rooms, so get it right, but second of all, why don’t you all make yourselves useful for once and step into them? Only one test subject per room, though! You can try to go in with someone else, but we just don’t start. What is that? You don’t want to go in? Then we can do this aaaaaaaaall day, I’m a very patient mouse, I’ll let you know!” And with that, the mysterious announcer goes silent. In fact, they’ll stay quiet until all the test subjects finally enter one of the AB Rooms, no matter how long it take. Once inside, the doors shut close, trapping them all inside..

✖ This event will go towards AC. You do not have to complete it, but you do need to have a minimum of 10 comments from you in a single thread.

✖ This is a continuation of the 'A NEW TEST SUBJECT' thread, taking place ICly the next morning.

✖ Characters will each enter an AB Room and be shown one video surveillance footage of another character. This footage will serve as a "clue" of the murder.

✖ Characters will then be let out of their rooms to share information with each other and speculate on what the videos mean.

✖ After speculation, everyone will be asked to submit an anonymous vote via the AB Rooms on who they think the murderer is.

✖ Votes are to be posted in your respective private posts and are OOCly due by Sunday, June 7 at 6:00PM EST

✖ This event will last 4 OOC days and 1 IC day.

[ After everyone finishes watching their videos a few times, the doors finally open. With a hiss, the strident, squeaky voice returns - perhaps it is a recording. ]

Some people just can't ever be unsupervised! This is your mess, so you clean it up. At least some of you know who's got the blood on their hands. Now, all of you, decide who'll be punished. Before they strike again...

[ A snicker.]

Talk like the annoying test subjects you are, and figure out who to point fingers at! Once you have a good enough idea on who did it, go back into those Ambidex Rooms and vote on the bastard! If you don't vote, then you might as well be admitting your own guilt, so you better hop to it!

[ The AB Room doors will remain open until someone reenters them to submit their vote. At that time, they will close behind the test subject, reopen, then permanently stay shut for the rest of the day. In the meanwhile, discuss what you've seen, try to make heads or tails out of it, speculate with others, and convince everyone that you're not the murderer. ]

[fushuuu]

[Kaidou exits the AB room with an even deeper scowl than the one he entered with, hands stuffed into the pockets of his shorts.]

...This is stupid.

[ This... sure is something else. Ellie doesn't really know how to feel about the whole thing, still shaken up by the dead body from yesterday, and watching that video didn't help. She leaves her AB Room and just awkwardly stands off to the side, looking down. She'll ask the following if anyone is near: ]

"I suppose we should discuss what we saw," said Hisoka, coming up out of fucking nowhere, hopefully Ellie wasn't surprised by this.

"That's how this game works, doesn't it?"

Hisoka was just kind of tooling around, seeming relatively unconcerned. Was he worried about punishment? Apparently not...

"So what did you see ♥?"

[ Ellie just holds her hands together, not looking pleased about this whole thing either. ]

Yeah, seriously. Like just who is that guy over the speakers?

[elliexir]

Ellie wasn't too surprised, but she did seem less than pleased that the creepier clown was talking to her. If anything, she suspected him the most of being the murderer...

"A really stupid game," she said without hesitation. "But what did you see in yours?" Might as well ask and get some info without running away from Hisoka just yet...

[fushuuu]

Loud. And irritating.

[he continues to glare off in no particular direction before he slowly swings his gaze over to glare specifically in her direction]

What do you know about the...dead body.

[elliexir]

[ She looks away off to the side when he asks and gives a small shrug. ]

I don't know. I guess just as much as everyone else. I didn't really... look over her too much.

[fushuuu]

Hmph.

...

Someone killed her. Did you?

[hisokathemagician]

"Well, what I saw could only be called circumstantial evidence," said Hisoka. "It was a man with a knife, wiping blood off of the blade."

[elliexir]

[ She looks back up, clearly taken back by the question. Surprise quickly changes into insult, though. ]

What? No! Why the fuck do you think I'm the one who killed her?

[elliexir]

"A man...? What did he look like?"

It was probably way too hard to tell, considering how grainy and shitty the video footage was, but might as well ask. Circumstantial evidence or not, it was still something.

You could've done it. You're probably strong enough, with some planning.

Screw you. It's not like you could've done it as well. You're the one looming over people and making faces at them.

He considered this. "It wasn't very good quality footage, and there was no color. I think he had hair about as long as mine, but that doesn't really narrow it down..." After all, all the men here had hair of about the same length. They could have styled it differently, too.

Hisoka motioned to Ellie. "What about you? Did you see anything helpful?"

[elliexir]

Yeah, that didn't really help... There were three guys here, creeper, dude with the neck tissue, and 50 year old jerkface. They all had short hair, soooooo that wasn't going to narrow it down at all.

In response to Hisoka's question, she thought back to it for a bit, pausing. "... There was some guy in a suit washing something dark off. That's all I saw."

[hisokathemagician]

"Washing something off his suit? Hmm. Well, I suppose only one of us looks fit to wear one of those. Still, they might have traded clothes with someone ♦."

Imagine Hisoka in a suit. Imagine it.

"Not very helpful, these videos. But that must be the point. ...By the way, how are you doing? That girl in the elevator was closer to your age than mine." Weirdly enough, Hisoka actually seemed interested in (concerned about?) Ellie's answer.

Th-the person who did it... They wore sneakers and didn't have long pants or long socks.

[So clearly not her, seeing as her socks go to just below the knee. Hm.]

What the hell's that supposed to mean? I haven't done anything.

You're the one going around pointing fingers. By your logic, you're strong enough as well.

[ And it's not Ellie either since she wears jeans all the way down to her shoes, but holy crap... ]

Seriously? You saw who did it?

"I guess..." She just shrugged. He did have a good point, but she also wasn't sure if clothes swapping would be that common around here. Like, just who would want to switch shirts when they're super dirty and gross? Ellie's shirt certainly had seen better days...

And as for that last question, she looked at him suspiciously. Now, if that question came from someone like Rio, someone more around her age (she totally didn't know that Rio was 19 like who would even think that??) and someone who wasn't a complete creep, she'd be more willing to answer. So, she was going to be cautious here and kind of be a jerk about it.

"Why do you want to know?"
