“Well well well, look at this!” Calhoun exclaims. He places a paw to his cheek, as if surprised. “We're split right down the middle. It’s a tie! Who would have thought? Not me, no siree.”
He sighs and shakes his head, appearing rather disappointed in everything. He begins to walk over to the tables, while continuing to whine.
“Giving me a little extra of everything, aren’t you? I just wanted a nice simple game of winners and losers, but nope, you’ve only given me a loser once in this entire game. What can a mouse do to catch a break?” He sighs again. “But in this case, since no one won or lost, I guess the only fair thing to do is...”
He trails off and stops right in between the tables. His tail sways and his expression goes blank, though with the gas mask, it’s difficult to tell.
“The only fair thing to do is... “ He takes a deep breath. “... Is to have you actually do it!”
He pulls back the sheets on both tables and it reveals a total of six objects, three on each table.
“That’s right! Know that choice you made with your group? Well, that’s what you’re going to do! You’re the one who said that you’d rather do that, so prove it, show me just how much you want to do it. If not? Well, then you know what happens.” He snaps his paws and once again, sparks fly out of the bracelets. He snickers then moves over to the table over to the left.
“Oooooooooon table number one! Do you ever feel like your fingers are too strong? Like you just want to break them and never have to worry about it again? Then you’re in luck because we have everything that you need to help you out!” He begins to start pointing at each item, one at a time as he talks about them. “Use the hammer to crush that bone without a fuss or hassle! You’d be able to get it done with in no time! Or, if you’re feeling a little more adventurous, try our drill. Nothing else screams absolute power than holding one of these babies to bore a hole through things you shouldn’t! Or if you don’t like either one of those, then we have this hand card for you! Yes, I said hand card, because it’s just a flimsy little sheet with a hand drawn on it. By holding this, it gives you the power to break fingers all on your own, with no tools needed! You can be your own Superman!”
Calhoun throws Kaidou, Maria, and Rio a thumbs up before moving onto the table on the right.
“Oooooooooon table number two! Have you ever tried to turn yourself into a pirate and you just can’t get rid of an eye to achieve that handsome eyepatch look? Worry no more because I have the solution for you!” Just like the previous table, Calhoun begins to point to each item laid out. “Try out our mace spray. It’s our specially made spray that’d make anyone go blind without the need to get all physical, but be careful! It’d hurt a lot more than just your eye because it’d get on your skin too, so if that’s not your cup of tea, then try our needle. We’ve already filled it up with a nice little solution so just inject it into your eye and blam, you’re as blind as a bat! And finally, here is yet another hand card. Want to punch the lights out of that eye? Then go for it!”
Calhoun winks over at Atsuro and Ellie, then claps his paws.
“Luckily for you, your injuries will only be temporary, so stop your worrying and get to it!"
