Since the second group's first Calhoun Hour, the mouse in question hasn't appeared in the warehouse for longer than 30 minutes at a time. He only arrives during the early mornings to tape a random fruit of the day (apples, oranges, and pears so far) before scurrying off with his wagon. He refuses to provide any sort of medical relief for any of the test subjects, and does nothing more but providing the bare minimum to survive. So, when Day 9 rolls around, three days since that faithful finger breaking/eye blinding experience, it's no different; Calhoun comes in, tapes up some bananas, then promptly leaves afterwards, all without a word. An hour after he leaves, though... The screen in the Greenhouse, up against the wall besides the entrance, finally comes to life for the first time. It flickers on and on, flashing brightly. At first, there's nothing but static. Soon enough, though, it stays a consistent green tint. A blinking cursor hovers at the bottom and stays there for a few seconds, before it begins to type. DO NOT DRAW ATTENTION TO YOURSELVES COME TO THE LOBBY AND GO THROUGH THE NEWLY OPENED DOOR I WILL MEET YOU THERE....... And it ends there...

It seems pretty suspicious, like what does "do not draw attention to yourselves" suppose to mean?

I see that as "be sneaky and don't do anything loud". So... go there without getting that mouse's attention?

Well, duh, I figured that, but does that mean the person who sent it isn't with the mouse?

That would be my first guess. Like... someone who opposed to this entire situation and want to help us out.

[That's an optimistic thought, if it's true.]

So... the police? They gotta be looking for us now, it's been over a week.

[ Though with the injuries they all woke up with... maybe they were here longer? ]

I really hope so. We've been here for days, so other people would've noticed our absences and reported it.

[Like... friends? Families? Any...one that knows them? At least he hope so, and maybe they can help with their amnesia.]

Yeah. Who wouldn't notice? Most of us are students, so if we don't show up in school for a while, then they'll think something's up.

[ Assuming that Ellie doesn't skip school (which she probably does)... ]

Uh huh. After a while, they would need to contact our guardians about it and ask.

[Atsuro thinks he's a decent student. Probably.]

Man, what do they even want from us? What's the point of gathering us all here and make a mouse watch over us?

That's what I'm trying to figure out... and of course, that mouse doesn't answer any of my questions about it.

Nope, nothing that's actually useful to know. Just that we're in an experiment. He doesn't even answer my question about our memories.

Why not? It's not like we don't know we have amnesia.

[ Why are you being so sketchy, mouse?? ]

Something about "wanting natural reactions" and all that.

... Seriously? That's such a lame excuse.

Really. And I think it's obvious, but he doesn't care about typical ethics.

No duh. Especially after that last game...

[ Just thinking back to it makes her eye sting. It's been three days but she still can't see anything out of it and it's starting to really get to her... ]

[He shudders when he think about the last game.]

[ She starts to play with her hands again, clearly nervous about the thought. ]

[ Ellie doesn't normally try to let these things get to her, but she's 14, okay, she can occasionally slip and have nothing much to say about the whole thing. WAY TO GO, ATSURO ]

[He almost curse out loud for making her worry. He looks a bit alarmed, before he tries to make the best of it.]

Well, we'll just have to find a way out first before we find out!

[ She knows what he's trying to do, backpedal and all, so she just gives a small smile in appreciation. ]

Maybe if we got some metal spoons, we can dig our way out of here.

Maybe! Do you think they have some around here?

[Maybe they think they can't dig their way out of this place with metal spoons, and leave them around??]

We should check it out after. Or maybe we could use that goat and have it charge at a wall. That thing has a serious temper issue.

[ It totally charged at her and Rio on their first day, shit sucked. ]

First hand! Seriously, you try and free someone's hair from its wrath and it gets up all in your face like you did something wrong. It's got major issues.
