"Well, she started looking up at the moon and cryin' every night, so that her parents got real worried about her. Then she says to them, 'I won't be around for much longer, you see. I'm not a person of this country. Soon I'll have to go home.' They tried to console her and make sense of her strange words, but it was no use. She sent a letter to the Emperor explaining what she told her parents, but he only set up guards around her house to try and prevent her from leaving.

"Then one night, a shining host came down from the sky to collect Kaguya-hime. Before them, even the Emperor's guards were powerless. They dressed Kaguya-hime in a feathered robe, and together they rose up and returned her to her true home -- the moon."
