Any time spent with Simon was automatically an awful time, so Kuzuryuu was not in the habit of seeking him out and in fact actively avoided him whenever the opportunity arose. So he was perfectly ready to walk on by this scene of Hershel being the nanny he was and Simon being the accident-prone idiot he was.

That is, until, he saw that this may not have been as chaste as it first seemed. Was Hershel attempting to... steal a kiss? Or more?
