A M B I D E X  V O T I N G Chop chop, everyone downstairs to the first floor! You're all done the puzzle rooms, so you know what to do. Well, most of you, but it's pretty basic, just enter any Ambidex Room you like (they're not elevators, you ignorant test subjects) then vote! How does voting work? Very simple! Pick Ally or Betray, and that's it! But with every round, there's always some prizes, depending on what you vote, so here's this rounds: For anyone who chooses Ally, well, if your opponent chooses Ally as well, then 2BP for each of you. You get all that friendship, blah blah, whatever. For anyone who chooses Betray, and gets a Betray in return, your BP doesn't change at all, but you do get two cans of food and 15 coins for each person, what, you have a problem with it being the same as last time? We're busy over here, quit your bellyaching. Now, the best part: for anyone who chooses Betray and their opponent chooses Ally, Calhoun will be very generous with his prizes, again! You'll get two cans of food and a memory! We're switching it up a bit. Also, as usual, those who pick Betray get 3BP instead of just 2. But if you're the poor sap that chose Ally and got stabbed in the back, well, sorry, you lose 2 BP. At least you got stabbed for the greater good, right? And plus, you might get a little something. [ Typical of an Ambidex Voting, all the Ambidex Rooms open up after 45 minutes and Calhoun starts screeching from the other side of the room. ]

So basically, everything had gone as Heiji had predicted. That was a nice change from the last few rounds, and he had a lot of loose ends to tie up this time around -- congratulating Clive on not starving, looking up Kuzuryuu and Piper, checking up on Snake and Hershel... gosh the party never ended.

The bracelet changing colors, though... he was pretty sure he knew what that meant. "Don't tell me -- another 'Calhoun Hour'."

[Clive comes out of his AB Room looking rather drowsy; he might have fallen asleep after he put in his vote, oops... don't judge him, okay, he didn't get any sleep last night. But he also appears to be completely unharmed, and that's a very big accomplishment considering that he was in the gallery.

Before looking at the results, he goes into Snake and Zelos's AB Room to.... help Snake carry out an unconscious Zelos. Don't ask Clive how that happened, he totally doesn't know anything about that. But he's instantly filled with life when he sees the results of the vote. After 27 long days, he can finally get into the cafeteria!!!

So after putting Zelos down in a safe place and happily talking with Snake for a bit, he makes a beeline for the cafeteria. Clive knows that the food isn't going to be that great, but honestly, he doesn't give a flying fuck. He can eat as much as he wants, and that's all that matters to him. So he's just going to be sitting in here for a while, happily eating all the gruel that his stomach can hold.

By the time he's done eating, he'll be feeling super sleepy again, so then he heads up to the garden to take a nice pseudo-outdoor nap in the grass. Please don't step on or trip over him or put flowers in his hair, thanks.]

[A quick glance at the board is all he really needed. Good, everyone allied. Now on to more important things.

He does feel bad about having to leave the others to deal with the unconscious Enjorlas, but he also doubts he would be very much help right now. No, he's just going to make a beeline for the washroom instead, holding his left hand close so the lovely gash along it isn't so easily visible. Of course, people may just wonder why he's headed there instead of to the cafeteria...

That said, once he's got it cleaned out, he will check out the cafeteria and... get a load of that beautiful splatter and chalk outline, wow.]

Heiji caught Sasuke as he was heading toward the washroom. "Hey, Sasuke, hold up a --"

He stopped mid-sentence. Headed to the washroom instead of the cafeteria + right after a puzzle room...

"...You okay?" He couldn't see any visible wounds, but that didn't mean Sasuke wasn't injured.

Heiji sat down in the seat across from the cafeteria, similarly uninjured and holding his own tray of gruel. It was disgusting, but for some reason, he seemed even hungrier than usual these days...

"Hey, glad ya could make it!"

The party indeed was a long one. Hershel smiled as he approached a tad slowly- boy was he pleased Heiji, Piper and Kuzuryuu worked something out. And that it potentially looked like his team hadn't been gassed and high for half the room?

"Looks like it." He said, glancing at Heiji's bracelet. Looked just like his, yup. "I wonder what ridiculous things we'll be asked to do this time around."

[Aggressively puts flowers in his hair- no, Hershel's going to be a good boy and catch him in the garden. He checked the cafeteria first but was too late, probably dealing with his all-star team and such.

He stands over him, smiling a bit because jesus christ finally, Clive. Finally.] I'd hate to wake you but inquiring minds must know how your palette enjoyed Calhoun's brand of home cooking.

[Hershel had been heading to the cafeteria to look for Clive, where else would the dude be heading at this point, but Sasuke is a welcome sight. He kind of hated the cafeteria to be honest, can you guess why, and tried to avoid it but you gotta eat.

His stupid leg hurts so he leans against the doorframe, sighing softly.] Not well enough, no. He must think the outline is funny. [Shockingly he does not sound like he thinks it's funny at all.]

[eeeek]

[This is good. This is great, actually!! This is so much better than last round!! Simon's beyond relieved at the results - a part of him expected Enjolras to betray him and Sasuke, despite the fact that he was, you know, unconscious through their entire puzzle - but he doesn't stick around in the warehouse after he's seen the results.

His ankle still hurts from the round before this one, so it takes a little bit of time for him to get there, but Simon heads straight towards the second floor. He doesn't go anywhere in particular once he's hobbled up the stairs - he ends up just hanging around in the hallway, huddled down against the wall opposite to the garden. He looks even more pathetic than usual, with his skin a little pale and clammy, and his knees are drawn up to his chest like he's trying to make himself look as small as possible.

He seems to want to be on his own, but Simon's kind of an idiot, so letting him hang around all miserable and unsupervised is probably a bad idea.]

[Thank goodness those rooms were over, that's Hershel's thought process at least. Three out of four went poorly, three, and he was actually good at puzzles! Admittedly only one of those times he had any sort of active part in making it garbage, and even then it was an honest mistake, so basically the morale of the story is puzzle rooms kind of sucked, 0/10, don't do again.

At least in the elevator he had sewed up his pant leg, even if there was still some distinct soot there and maybe he wasn't walking as fast as usual. Puzzle rooms. The very first thing he had to do was double check on the dream team, Jake and Ema. He wasn't even slightly surprised at their results, it was Ema after all, he trusted her. Even the ridiculous nonsense that was their room, she'd totally be a bro.

So yes, seeking them out, maybe a few others. Weirdly one of the places he can be found is standing around Calhoun's shop later. It's weird because he clearly has no coins but seems to be looking for Calhoun? Who would subject themselves to that?? Other than that come join him at Jake and Heiji's stolen corner couch or wherever it ended up. So comfortable, etc.]

Heiji sighed. "If it's a sack race through a mud field, I'm out." Not... trying to give Calhoun ideas or anything...

"Anyway, no one got hurt this round. What about you, you pull through okay?" Hershel certainly had seemed to be racking up those stab wounds last round.

"Hey, Simon. Where ya been hidin'?" And... why was he huddling against the wall like that. "Sasuke told me you hurt your leg, and... hey, you feelin' all right?"

Because pale and clammy definitely were not good signs. Maybe he'd had a rough time of it in the puzzle room.

"Maybe a three-legged race like a fair?" Hershel mused, also totally not trying to give anyone ideas...

He sure did. He sighed, kind of pointedly stalling because he wasn't even sure how to explain this. "We... managed. It turns out if you break Calhoun's screen it explodes." Helpful. "Jake and Ema are doing worse than I am, I'm afraid. At least Ema and I both have 18 BP."

W-Wuagh!

[Simon reflexively covers his head and hides, but when he sees it's only Heiji, he breathes out. Heiji's good. He likes Heiji.]

N-No, I'm not hiding, I just... [he pauses, then quickly changes topics.]

Yeah. I hurt my ankle. Me and Snake and Sasuke went through this puzzle room a little while ago and... I kinda fell down from a big height. I still can't really walk all that well.
