new arrivals and goodbyes
![]() 【 day 41 】 Hello newcomers, welcome to the 【 Warehouse 】. Once you escape your elevator, you will find yourself here. It's strangely empty for a warehouse. Aside from the elevators you've come out of, there's nothing else here. In fact, the longer you look around, the stranger everything looks. Every window has been bolted shut, with no way of removing the steel coverings. The only source of illumination comes from the florescent lights above. Along the walls are numerous amounts of surveillance cameras, watching every bit of movement and listening to the sounds of everyone and everything. Every door is locked up tight, with no clear way of opening them, and there's one giant door with a 9 painted on it. It's a rather strange place, and there seems to be a lot of people here, so go introduce yourselves? For the "old-timers" and "newly-become-old-timers", come meet your new fellow test subjects. You haven't had more than one person arrive in a long while, so what a surprise! This also means that there are two elevators that you can jump into and have a nice, long, cold bath in! How generous of Calhoun. |

I suppose there are a lot of day to day things the BP incentives don't really cover- in fact if you want I can give you some coins so you can get a toothbrush and some toothpaste. It's going to be a while before you'll be able to get coins yourself. [Because clearly no one would ever betray that'd be rude and precious Alfendi could never do such a thing.]
Oh... [Huh. He considered that for a moment as he stopped at the lounge door.] Well, I think they're a good lot, despite some... disagreements. I suppose it may sound silly but if you just give everyone a chance and the benefit of the doubt I don't think they'll disappoint you. They never really have me, at least.
[He hesitated.] That isn't to say there haven't been problematic people. One in particular just left, which is probably the reason you're here now.

clearing his throat, alfendi decides to address the whole problematic test subject thing, his voice is slightly heavier than before - his eyes are still somewhat glassy and unfocused, but it sounds like he's paying attention, at least.]
Yes - I've heard a handful of stories about problematic test subjects. I was told to keep an eye out for a red-haired fellow, I believe, in colourful clothes. [is he talking about simon or zelos?? probably simon because zelos is like comadead]
But I agree with you. I'd sooner take the position that everyone here is innocent until proven guilty rather than let my paranoia consume me. I don't think there's anything wrong with giving people a chance. [a pause.] You have a good head on your shoulders, Hershel, even if it is weighed down by all that hair.
