a new arrival
![]() 【 day 44 】 Hello newcomer, welcome to the 【 Warehouse 】. Once you escape your elevator, you will find yourself here. It's strangely empty for a warehouse. Aside from the elevators you've come out of, there's nothing else here. In fact, the longer you look around, the stranger everything looks. Every window has been bolted shut, with no way of removing the steel coverings. The only source of illumination comes from the florescent lights above. Along the walls are numerous amounts of surveillance cameras, watching every bit of movement and listening to the sounds of everyone and everything. Every door is locked up tight, with no clear way of opening them, and there's one giant door with a 9 painted on it. It's a rather strange place, and there seems to be a lot of people here, so go introduce yourselves? For the "old-timers" and "newly-become-old-timers", come meet your new fellow test subject. Thankfully(?) enough, no one has disappeared for this "replacement" to appear. Lucky you, you can still be a sickeningly happy family without anyone leaving. Calhoun will just pretend to barf over here while you can have your free bath of the week. |

Wirt followed along, listening closely. He didn't want to miss any important information. "Meaty---Meaty chunks?" His voice squeaks and cracks with worry. Yeeeaaah, becoming meaty chunks didn't really sound like a good time. At all. Ever.
He cleared his throat and tried not to think about it.
"H-How do we get more BP, then?"
no subject
"Every time you go into a puzzle room you're either going to be a solo or be in a pair. And once you finish the puzzles you have to go to an AB room - y'know, the fake elevators that Zero tries to drown everyone in. Then you decide whether or not you wanna ally or betray. If both the solo and the pair pick ally then both teams get 2 BP. If one picks ally and the other one picks betray, then the team who betrayed gets 3 BP and the team who allied loses 2 BP. And if both teams pick betray no one gets any BP but no one loses any, either."
He took a short breath, glancing back to Wirt. "Since this is your first round, you probably don't have to worry about getting betrayed. Nobody here's enough of an asshole to make you lose access to water. Or, at least they know better to pretend that they aren't."
no subject
Wirt tore his eyes away from his wrist and forced himself to focus. "W-well that's good, I guess. It's one less thing to worry about." He rubbed absently at his wrist, looking around at their surroundings as they went along.
"Is there...anyone I should worry about?"
no subject
"He plays up being polite and shit but he can't be trusted." He crossed his arms. "Up to you how you feel about him when you meet him, if you haven't already, but I'd think real hard about what you pick if you're ever up against him." Basically, Kuzuryuu was not a fan of Clive.
"Other than that, Layton's... weird. Alfendi, not Hershel. Dunno how I feel about him, but it's not gonna hurt to be careful."
no subject
"Is, uh, Clive likely to choose betray, then?" 'Weird' wasn't very specific, but Wirt didn't really ask for specifics. "And I'll--I'll watch out for Alfendi. I'd rather be safe than sorry, you know?"
