a new arrival
![]() 【 day 44 】 Hello newcomer, welcome to the 【 Warehouse 】. Once you escape your elevator, you will find yourself here. It's strangely empty for a warehouse. Aside from the elevators you've come out of, there's nothing else here. In fact, the longer you look around, the stranger everything looks. Every window has been bolted shut, with no way of removing the steel coverings. The only source of illumination comes from the florescent lights above. Along the walls are numerous amounts of surveillance cameras, watching every bit of movement and listening to the sounds of everyone and everything. Every door is locked up tight, with no clear way of opening them, and there's one giant door with a 9 painted on it. It's a rather strange place, and there seems to be a lot of people here, so go introduce yourselves? For the "old-timers" and "newly-become-old-timers", come meet your new fellow test subject. Thankfully(?) enough, no one has disappeared for this "replacement" to appear. Lucky you, you can still be a sickeningly happy family without anyone leaving. Calhoun will just pretend to barf over here while you can have your free bath of the week. |

There's at least a few of us every night. [Sasuke included-- he honestly spends most of his time in there even when he isn't trying to find a nicer place to sleep.]
I can show you now. There's a couple of other rooms on the way that are good to know, too. Right now, the cafeteria should be the only unlocked door you can't go into.
[He'll start to move, but pause before he even takes a step, making sure Wirt does indeed follow. Let's make sure the new guy knows which door to stay away from.]

[ Wirt follows as soon as Sasuke starts to move. He doesn't want to be left behind, or left wondering just what room is what. He especially doesn't want to end up exploding everywhere.
He takes the time to kind of look around and get a better sense of things, but mostly he just focuses on staying close. ]

That door is the cafeteria. The others probably told you about it, but... I wouldn't recommend going near it until you have enough points.
[They still have no idea who killed Akiko. While that person may no longer be here, it's still safer than sorry.]
Those are the washrooms and lounge... There are a few magazines and games in there, but apparently they aren't very interesting. There's some couches too, but one's rock hard and the other one is usually revserved for anyone sick.
[Since that. Happens.]

[ Wirt doesn't know about Akiko, but he does know about the bombs and the consequences of going into the cafeteria before 9 points are reached. His hand goes to the metal band around his wrist, but he refuses to look down at it, focusing instead on the next few doors. ]
I can go into those rooms, right?
[ JUST. YOU KNOW. MAKING SURE. ]

[It's okay Wirt, just avoid the one explode-y door and you should be fine.]
The garden's up on the second floor, this way.
[And he'll lead the way until they eventually end up in a room that looks remarkably like the outdoors - until you realize it's all artificial. Still, there's soft grass, the "sun" is shining, and there's even a nice little stream fed by a waterfall into a small pond. Also, trees. The trees are the important part.]

Wow, it's really nice in here.

I think that pretty much covers it... apparently there are dormitories, but since no one has the BP to get in, the door's still locked.
[So no need to worry about accidentally walking in there.]
no subject
Well, at least I don't have to worry about getting lost. [ And then, just because he's curious; ] How much BP do you need, to get into the dorms?

Zero's trying to pit us against each other in here, but you won't be able to progress unless people trust you. It's better not to play into his game.
no subject
I-I'd rather work with everyone, honestly. I mean, as long as...as I know most people are trustworthy, to some degree.
no subject
...Another thing. Calhoun might try to strike a deal with you if you hit Betray or if someone Betrays you.
Just be careful and don't fall for it.
no subject
Why, are his deals really good or...? [ What would the robot mouse even try to bargain for? ]
no subject
He'll also probably offer you dangerous itens if you get Betrayed-- trying to let you get revenge. But it's better to just get rid of them, I think.
