Chop chop, everyone downstairs to the first floor! You're all done the puzzle rooms, so you know what to do. Well, most of you, but it's pretty basic, just enter any Ambidex Room you like (they're not elevators, you ignorant test subjects) then vote! How does voting work? Very simple! Pick Ally or Betray, and that's it! But with every round, there's always some prizes, depending on what you vote, so here's this rounds:

For anyone who chooses Ally, well, if your opponent chooses Ally as well, then 2BP for each of you. You get all that friendship, blah blah, whatever.

For anyone who chooses Betray, and gets a Betray in return, your BP doesn't change at all, but you might get some coins for your trouble, let's saaaay, 20? Generous, I know.

Now, the best part: for anyone who chooses Betray and their opponent chooses Ally, Calhoun will be very generous with his prizes, again! You'll get 15 coins and a memory! Also, as usual, those who pick Betray get 3BP instead of just 2.

But if you're the poor sap that chose Ally and got stabbed in the back, well, sorry, you lose 2 BP. At least you got stabbed for the greater good, right? And plus, you might get a little something. He'll talk to you later about it.

[ Wirt isn't paying attention when he meanders into the garden and flops down on the grass, his stupid red hat rolling around behind him. He's drained from his arrival and the latest puzzle room, and there's a lot to process still, so he's distracted. But when he goes to grab his hat and stop it from rolling too far away, he spots Clive nearby looking...well, not exactly in the best of moods. ]

Oh, Uh--sorry, I didn't realize you were here. I can--I can go somewhere else, if you'd like to be alone, or. Yeah.

[ He tries so hard, and yet he still fumbles over his words all the dang time. ]

[Clive is distracted by his own thoughts until a vaguely familiar red hat rolls into his line of sight, effectively snapping him back into reality. Just when he begins to question where he saw it before, Wirt comes up, and then he remembers. He had caught a brief glimpse of Wirt while they looked at the results, but Clive got the hell out of there pretty quickly so. Yeah.

Despite his mood, he offers the newbie the friendliest smile he can manage.]

It's all right. I don't mind your company if you don't mind mine.

[He just betrayed someone, after all - he wouldn't exactly blame Wirt if he'd rather not stick around.]

[ Wirt knew he'd just betrayed someone, but he's not about to judge Clive for it, at least not right away. There could have been some kind of extenuating circumstance or some legitimate reason why he chose betray instead of ally.

Wirt would be wary, if they were ever in a puzzle room together, but for now he's content to hang around and chat. ]

I don't. You just seemed a little--[ Wirt kind of gestures vaguely. He didn't want to say he looked upset. He didn't know Clive well enough to know if that was the case. But he certainly wasn't cheerful. Not that Wirt can blame him. ] --You know?
