"Not much I suppose, I was thinking of asking Ema to give me lessons on that new organ she got put in the lounge." Hershel mused. "There's not much else to do around here, really... as for that-" Sigh. "You'll have to see for yourself. It is your gift-in-progress, you know." "Ta-da... so far. I want to try to make them... well, less terrible but soon. At least they'll keep your feet warm? Probably."

"Well, they're, uh. They definitely look warm, anyway!" Sorry, Hershel. Those socks were kind of hideous. But the did look serviceable. "They might double as pretty good mittens, too, I guess."

He laughed. "Oh, that reminds me. Jake wasn't gonna get anything for himself; didn't wanna sit on Calhoun's lap, he said. But I guess he found a way around it, after all."
