ambidex voting #13
![]() Another round, maybe this one will end better? Less blood and gore even? No? Well, here are the conditions regardless.: For anyone who chooses Ally, well, if your opponent chooses Ally as well, then 2BP for each of you and blah blah blah, predictable. Bore him to tears why don't you. For anyone who chooses Betray, and gets a Betray in return, everyone's BP stays the same and one of you gets fifty coins! That'd be fun, right? A cheeky little gamble. The rest get a pat on the back and that warm feeling of a vote well voted. Last but certainly not least: for anyone who chooses Betray and their opponent chooses Ally, same deal as last time, two whole memories! Eh, eh? Come on, that's a pretty good deal, right? Take the offer! And the ally person well, they get the usual. So, happy voting! Calhoun will see all of you later with the results. |

What was even more bizarre, though, was Heiji's description of the girl in his room. "Really? That's exactly what our room was like. The 'protagonist' was named Alessa as well. We helped her solve the puzzles to get out of the room - well, more like I helped her and Jake just stood there making useless, sarcastic remarks the entire time - Alessa also claimed that there was an incapacitated man with a gas mask under the camera, but when we got to see it for ourselves, it wasn't a man wearing a gas mask at all. It was another girl with her hands tied behind her back and duct tape over her mouth. We called Alessa out on it, and then she held the girl at knife point and threatened to kill her if we didn't help her with the rest of the room.
"Neither of us wanted any further harm to come to that girl, so we did as Alessa said and when we reached the end, she thanked us and told us that she was going to come to where we were to 'return the favor.' We both expected the worst - that she was going to come into our room to attack us, so I had Jake hide behind the door and I stayed in front of the computer. Surely enough, she did enter the room with her knife in hand and only saw me. She prepared to lunge at me, but before she could go anywhere, Jake struck her from behind, knocking her unconscious right away. Then we were put to sleep mere seconds later and woke up in our elevators."

which was apparently sliding puzzles."It was really unfair if ya ask me, since Hershel hasn't even eaten for days, but that's Calhoun." Eat shit Calhoun, the end.
Heiji nodded. "Yeah, that's almost exactly what happened in our room! The other girl had a bracelet on, too, and she looked totally terrified. But if that's the case, this has gotta be staged." He gave Clive a quick description of both girls. "If they're the same exact girls, I can see how Calhoun mighta been able to do it... maybe. Those reactions didn't look fake to me, but if Calhoun wiped their memories after each iteration..."

"Well, well, that's exactly what the girls in our room looked like, too. Even if they had their memories erased after the first iteration, though, it's a bit peculiar that they repeated the same exact actions as before..." And now he had no idea what was going to happen with that room for the next group considering that Alessa got fucking wrecked in their iteration. Maybe Zero would kidnap another mentally unstable woman to replace her?

He paused for a second, then shook his head. "Nah, that's crazy. Anyway. I figured that since we both been in the grey room now, we could trade stories. You got somethin' at the end of it, right? He said if everyone in the group played his dumb game, you'd get a prize."

"It's me and my parents! I was a cute kid, wasn't I?" This photo was actually like 90% of the reason why he cried so much after the room but look at him, being all smiles about it now.

"Hey, you really were! Ha ha, check out those cheeks! I bet all the aunties couldn't leave ya alone!" His expression softened. "Your folks look like nice people. I'm glad ya finally got your photo back."
no subject
"Thank you. I'm really glad too." He glanced down at the charm Heiji was wearing. "That must be what you got, right? Is it a good luck charm?"
no subject
"Yeah, it's an omamori. I know it's mine, 'cause I had it with me when someone shoved me off that boat. But I can't remember where I got it or who gave it to me." Heiji held it in one hand and frowned at it, as if staring at it hard enough might give him some answers.
"Weird, huh? It must be pretty important. I'm assumin' I had it with or near me when I got kidnapped. There's something weird inside it, too..."
no subject
"It must be a gift from a loved one. Charms like that have much more meaning when you get them from someone close to you rather than buying one for yourself. Or at least that's what I think." Buying your own good luck charm kind of takes the magic out of it, in Clive's opinion.
"Oh? What's inside it?"
no subject
Don't ask why he was still wearing it if he didn't believe in it, shhhhhh.
"It's a chain link. Looks like it's from a set of police handcuffs." How did Heiji know what police handcuffs looked like? He just did ok. "But only one. Weird, huh? I mean, who puts that kinda thing in a good luck charm?"
