 Another round, maybe this one will end better? Less blood and gore even? No? Well, here are the conditions regardless.: For anyone who chooses Ally, well, if your opponent chooses Ally as well, then 2BP for each of you and blah blah blah, predictable. Bore him to tears why don't you. For anyone who chooses Betray, and gets a Betray in return, everyone's BP stays the same and one of you gets fifty coins! That'd be fun, right? Until you're sleepy again. [a little teasing there, what a hilarious quirk. what a nerd you are. and have a shrug.] With the food situation you mean? I'm alright, been a little dizzy here and there but it's almost over. I hope Snake and Alfendi can take the lead on our puzzle room though, I'm not sure I really trust myself to be very useful even if I was at full strength. Heiji and Sasuke seemed worried about it, at least.

[ and way to put your trust in jake, hershel, real nice, but on his other side (the one that hershel isn't sitting on) is his pile of junk. it's just mainly another jacket and his bag, the rest he keeps in a locker, but he reaches under to pull out a small box and two cans. placing the cans on top of the box, he just... places it on hershel's lap without a word. when hershel opens his eyes, he'll see that he got a box of donuts, courtesy of calhoun's shop, and canned beans or something similar, back when jake got his food basket for christmas. he knew saving these would come in handy later. ]

[Hershel opens his eyes a moment after Jake places stuff in his lap, figuring hey, it's probably okay right. he wasn't really sure what he was expecting- okay he was absolutely expecting jake to like throw grass in his face or blow a grasswhistle in his ear or something shhh - but it definitely wasn't this.

[meanwhile hershel's still struggling with shock over this. mostly he's pretty fucking touched because holy shit, jake spent a ton of money on him, and it's jake. jake, the human representation of scrooge mcduck. they could do a christmas carol adaptation and he'd be the lead in a heartbeat. jake muller.
he's also guilty, of course, because money meant a lot to jake and he went and spent it because hershel was a fucking idiot. so yeah, he's torn for a moment on what even to say, if he should try to refuse at least the can of food, if he should promise to pay him back, etc. he ends up just quietly answering for now.] ... thank you. This- you didn't have to do this. It's really... you're a good friend, Jake.

[ to be honest, it... kind of was a bit of a hard decision to go ahead and blow that many coins on that box. partially because 150 coins is a lot to blow, it takes about three calhoun hour events to even earn that much and he could always use it for something more useful in the future, should the situation call it, but also... well, hershel kind of needed to learn his lesson. he needed to know why everyone flipped out at the fact that he gave up his bp and why he should have thought it out before going to act like a hero, but by the same token, jake guesses that letting a kid stare for about a week isn't the best way to go at that, hence why they're at this moment now. ]
