CALHOUN HOUR - BINGO II
Early in the morning of Day 84, an announcement booms from the warehouse speakers: "All test subjects report to the first floor lobby immediately for your next experiment." Zero's unmistakable garbled voice goes silent afterwards. Once everyone gathers downstairs, they'll be treated to an unexpected sight: Zero standing in front of them in the flesh. Standing tall (at 5'4"...), they're donned in the same piece of clothing everyone remembers them in: a black raincoat (large and long enough that it covers their entire body, leaving no distinguishable features), a full facial gas mask, and matching black gloves. It seems as if Zero really dislikes showing skin... "Today, you will be participating in a game of, what you may call, 'Bingo'. I believe most of you have participated in this before. The rules and explanations are on the back of the cards." An arm is raised to motion towards the paper cards scattered on the nearby table, then it falls again. "Due to some... unfortunate events, I will monitor you in person. However, do not underestimate what will happen to you should you decide to cheat, escape, attack, or do anything that will break my rules. Your bracelets are still very functional and my cameras will continue to record every move you take, so I suggest that you refrain from doing anything foolish." "Now begin." |

With his arm redirected, he barely managed to pull himself back to avoid getting a nice hand print on his chest. Leaning backwards, he placed his left hand on the floor to hold himself as he swung his right leg across to make a sweeping motion towards Heiji's feet.

While Jake's leg was still in contact with his shin, he grabbed it and redirected Jake's momentum. Maybe throwing him or Jake would lose his balance or something more disastrous. I mean were there any electrical outlets or exploding TVs around.

Jake managed to at least prevent from completely falling flat by out stretching his hands out behind him to catch himself, wincing slightly when he skids on them. Once he stopped, he rolled backwards onto his upper back, arms bent to place his hands by his head, and knees pulled in. Then in one fluid motion, once he started to rock forward, he kicked out and pulled himself forward, and stood himself up. He was a show off, that was for sure... At least this way, he could get up faster, and time was everything...
He shook his hands free of any dirt and whatnot he picked up on his hands. Hm, should have worn his gloves today.
"Not bad, so far." Was that a compliment??

Heiji stood a bit off from Jake's location, obviously waiting for him to get back up because. It was the polite thing to do? "Thanks. Wow, you're lookin' happier already." If in fact Jake could ever be said to be looking happy...

"Throwing a few punches around normally helps, yeah." How could you not get happy about being in a fight? It was the most active thing Jake had done around here since the obstacle course and destroying a few robots. Also, speaking about punches, here was one coming right towards your face.

Heiji : ?
Heiji shifted quickly to the side -- wow was that punch aimed at his face, Jake you jerk -- and reached out with both arms to grab for Jake's shoulder and arm. He wasn't going to bother much with punching straight into a 80 kg bag of beef jerky; that seemed pretty pointless and fistfights weren't really his thing anyway. But he did know that it was possible to redirect an 80kg bag of beef jerky. If he got the chance, he'd simply flip Jake and let his own weight take care of him.
