CALHOUN HOUR - BINGO II
Early in the morning of Day 84, an announcement booms from the warehouse speakers: "All test subjects report to the first floor lobby immediately for your next experiment." Zero's unmistakable garbled voice goes silent afterwards. Once everyone gathers downstairs, they'll be treated to an unexpected sight: Zero standing in front of them in the flesh. Standing tall (at 5'4"...), they're donned in the same piece of clothing everyone remembers them in: a black raincoat (large and long enough that it covers their entire body, leaving no distinguishable features), a full facial gas mask, and matching black gloves. It seems as if Zero really dislikes showing skin... "Today, you will be participating in a game of, what you may call, 'Bingo'. I believe most of you have participated in this before. The rules and explanations are on the back of the cards." An arm is raised to motion towards the paper cards scattered on the nearby table, then it falls again. "Due to some... unfortunate events, I will monitor you in person. However, do not underestimate what will happen to you should you decide to cheat, escape, attack, or do anything that will break my rules. Your bracelets are still very functional and my cameras will continue to record every move you take, so I suggest that you refrain from doing anything foolish." "Now begin." |

"So rigor mortis is on TV all the time, but did ya know about livor mortis? After someone dies, their blood settles in the lower part of their body, dependin' on how they died. It's 'cause the heart's no longer active and pumping blood through the body. You can see it best 6 to 12 hours after someone dies." Well, that was... a very Heiji thing to try and teach someone.
no subject
"What are its effects?" Might as well take the opportunity to learn while he's got it.
no subject
He made a gesture indicating rolling something over. "After it's set in, you can't reverse the effects by moving the body, 'cause the blood vessels break down too much."
no subject
"Is there anything else worth knowing about it?"
no subject
And checking off one of his bingo squares. "Alright! Anything you need help with?"

no subject
"Well... okay. Truth or dare?"
no subject
Truth... could probably get uncomfortable pretty quick, considering what Heiji knows. On the other hand, Heiji's a fairly trustworthy person, so it should be safe if he went with:
"Dare."
no subject
Monster....
no subject
...
So much for trusting Heiji.
"...Are you serious?"
no subject
Wait.
"Have you... never kissed anybody before?"
no subject
"How should I know?" It's not like he'd, y'know. Remember. "It's just... weird."
no subject
"Well, ya don't have to if you really don't want to. I kinda thought that was a softball. Alfendi woulda probably told you to massage Jake's feet." Alfendi seemed like he would play truth or dare hardball....
"Hershel's a nice guy, though. He ain't going to bite or anything."
no subject
"If that's your dare, fine." Whatever. Even if he's never kissed anyone before, it probably isn't a big deal, so he'll go ahead and mosey on over and do the thing.
Scarlet letters for everyone all up in here.
There's a slight detour after, but he does eventually make his way back. "There. Truth or dare?" Because he's not. Even going to talk about it.
no subject
"Okay, truth!"
no subject
"...Why do you think Zero decided to come here in person?"
no subject
"It's part of his experiment. He wouldn't be down here unless he had to, even with them security measures. You know why? 'Cause security measures can fail, and you never know when someone might really snap and come after him, threats or not. He don't care for us, or even for his robot mouse. But one thing he does care about is his experiment. Truth or dare?"
no subject
"Truth."
no subject
"Do you wanna remember who ya are? I mean, get your memories back and everything."
no subject
"...I should remember." Though that's not exactly a matter of wanting. He just... feels like he ought to, so he could at least explain to the others why he can do the things he can. Even if he's got a pretty bad feeling about it all...
"Truth or dare?"
no subject
"Truth."
no subject
"Did you ever remember what your connection to the police is?"
no subject
"Nah, not for sure. But based on my memories so far, I had to've had either a really bad relationship with 'em or a really good one. I'm bankin' on the second. Truth or dare?"
