Early in the morning of Day 84, an announcement booms from the warehouse speakers: "All test subjects report to the first floor lobby immediately for your next experiment." Zero's unmistakable garbled voice goes silent afterwards. Once everyone gathers downstairs, they'll be treated to an unexpected sight: Zero standing in front of them in the flesh. Standing tall (at 5'4"...), they're donned in the same piece of clothing everyone remembers them in: a black raincoat (large and long enough that it covers their entire body, leaving no distinguishable features), a full facial gas mask, and matching black gloves. It seems as if Zero really dislikes showing skin... "Today, you will be participating in a game of, what you may call, 'Bingo'. I believe most of you have participated in this before. The rules and explanations are on the back of the cards." An arm is raised to motion towards the paper cards scattered on the nearby table, then it falls again. "Due to some... unfortunate events, I will monitor you in person. However, do not underestimate what will happen to you should you decide to cheat, escape, attack, or do anything that will break my rules. Your bracelets are still very functional and my cameras will continue to record every move you take, so I suggest that you refrain from doing anything foolish." "Now begin." [ he takes her hand gingerly, just looking it over. he holds onto it as he finally digs out what he was looking for: a long strip of gauze. it's not the best material to use for what he wants to teach, but eh, you gotta use what you got, and who even knows if ema would want to remember this nonsense. ]

[ letting go of her hand, he begins to wrap the gauze around her knuckles twice, keeping it loose. once he finishes, he slips it off to flatten down and place over her knuckles. from there, he wraps the gauze around twice around the padding. she can probably guess what he's trying to do. ]

[ what he's doing is a hand wrap that's more commonly used in muay thai. he doubts that he actually learned it in a proper setting, based on what he knows about his past, but he probably picked up a bunch of bits of knowledge like this. ]

Plus, this way, you can punch Zero without hurting yourself and come whining to me about it.

[she doesn't look fussed about it, though, and in fact once he's done, gazes appreciatively at her hand like some would stare at an engagement ring]

[ he smirks. also, that's cute, ema admiring her hand like that. who knew that she'd like a wrapped up hand that much (he hopes that she doesn't actually look at it like someone would look at an engagement ring, since they're two very different things). he reaches into his pocket to look around, then grabs another long strip, this one now a bed sheet. good thing he always carries some emergency bandages around ]

Here. [ he hold it out for her ] Just do what I did. Make sure you don't wrap it around too tightly though.

[of course they aren't the same; one is armor and one is a weapon. she takes the strip of bedsheet, wrapping a handswidth or two of cloth over her knuckles, then wrapping the rest around and over her hand securely. it ends up a little tight, but there's enough slack that she can flex her hand more or less, so close enough for government work.]
