Early in the morning of Day 84, an announcement booms from the warehouse speakers: "All test subjects report to the first floor lobby immediately for your next experiment." Zero's unmistakable garbled voice goes silent afterwards. Once everyone gathers downstairs, they'll be treated to an unexpected sight: Zero standing in front of them in the flesh. Standing tall (at 5'4"...), they're donned in the same piece of clothing everyone remembers them in: a black raincoat (large and long enough that it covers their entire body, leaving no distinguishable features), a full facial gas mask, and matching black gloves. It seems as if Zero really dislikes showing skin... "Today, you will be participating in a game of, what you may call, 'Bingo'. I believe most of you have participated in this before. The rules and explanations are on the back of the cards." An arm is raised to motion towards the paper cards scattered on the nearby table, then it falls again. "Due to some... unfortunate events, I will monitor you in person. However, do not underestimate what will happen to you should you decide to cheat, escape, attack, or do anything that will break my rules. Your bracelets are still very functional and my cameras will continue to record every move you take, so I suggest that you refrain from doing anything foolish." "Now begin." I'm not sure. All I remember was him following me while I was at home. It was a large traditional building, so you could hear his paws on the wood.

I wonder how you got him, maybe you found him somewhere. [That's pretty anime, right, finding a cute stray cat bud?] I don't think I've ever had a pet, at least there never were any in the memories I got back.

I think... I know a lot about cats. It's probably because of Kurou.

I feel as though Heiji mentioned it once or twice, did you tell him about Kurou? I had no idea Sleepy Cat would be so appropriate. [Even if it's a kind of creepy doll, whoops.]

Yeah, back when I first got the memory. Though there are other animals I know a bit about, too... It's not just cats.

[People here just seem to associate him with them.]

Really? [Huh. He places a hand to his chin.] I wonder if you wanted to be a vet, or maybe you just had an interest in animals.

[He could see vet Sasuke, that's pretty cute.]

The ones I knew about are mostly wild... Foxes, tanuki, snakes. If I lived out in the country, I might just be from an area with a lot of wildlife.

[It's as though you went to some animal school, Sasuke.] You must have, I know I lived rather out of the way but I can't say I know all that much about the wildlife. [Then again Britain is boring.]

This is rather off topic but what do you want to do? As a career, I mean.

I'm... not really sure. [He hardly knows much about himself right now, much less what he'd like to do in the future. Was there even anything he wanted to do? Something he was working towards? Or had he known just as little even with his memories...?]

Well, you are rather young. [He thinks... it's hard to tell with people around here.] That and our memories being missing doesn't exactly lend to knowing about lifelong passions.

[He considers for a moment.] You would make a good vet, maybe a teacher too, I think.

[That gets a look that's probably a mix of surprise and mild disbelief.]

[And he looks a little amused, clearly Sasuke couldn't see what a good if not emotionless vet/teacher he could be.]

You're very logical, calm and you seem to have a good grasp on reading people. You're patient too, which I imagine is half the battle sometimes.

[All of the possible assassination stuff is honestly kind of distracting from such... normal job possibilities, really.]

It takes a lot more than that to become either of those, though.
