You will be given 45 minutes to decide." And with that, the elevator doors open and the PA system turns itself off. It seems as if there are no rewards or any of that nonsense this time around... You do bring up a good point. *Pride could get one very far but it had to be balanced by practicality. However, he couldn't really view the situation in practical terms at the moment.*

Speaking of helping, do you mind helping me with a bit more of this mud?

"Of course!" Heiji began brushing more mud off of Snake, systematically attacking the dirt on his pant legs and then working his way up his thighs.

"I'm glad ya didn't get hurt, though. That room could've really gotten someone injured."

I suppose attempting to jump on a platform would have been more dangerous than swimming. *Avoiding broken limbs was ultimately a better plan than avoiding getting chilly.*

"Yeah, 'specially with two of you at once." He slapped lightly at Snake's butt, loosening more of the mud from the back of his slacks.

"Think you're about ready?"

*Snake gave him a startled look at that hand on his backside but then he grinned.* I can certainly tell you are. We'll just have to let my clothes dry somewhere and get clean in the shower.
