ambidex voting #17
![]() Once everyone exits their respective rooms, Zero's voice will be heard over the speakers: "Proceed into the Ambidex Rooms and cast your vote. You will be given 45 minutes to decide." And with that, the elevator doors open and the PA system turns itself off. It seems as if there are no rewards or any of that nonsense this time around... |

Heiji, for a detective, you were real shit at taking a hint... But Jake looked up at him with slight curiosity. "Where'd you hear that from?"
no subject
He laughed and waved a hand. "Nah, it's nothin' like you're thinking. Back when we were collecting those parts, me and Hershel made a couple of alterations. You know how Hershel's pretty good at sewing? So we gave him angry eyebrows and little heart pawpads."
Eat shit, Calhoun.

"Desecrating the dead? Thought you and Hersh were too much of a goodie-two-shoes bunch to do anything as daring as that." Yeah, Jake was calling Hershel by Hersh now. Not all the time, just sometimes. Friendship........

"Anyway, Calhoun should be thankin' us. I think we gave him some real character."
no subject
"Yeah, I'm sure whenever he rises from the dead, he'll reward you in Soporil." Haha, have fun getting drugged.

"Guess it's better than not bein' able to sleep for a week. I was gettin' seriously worried about Hershel for a little there. I'll just need to get someone to catch me."
no subject
"His punishment finished around the same time as yours, right? Three days in." Or something like that. He wasn't keeping track that much, to be honest.

That was a weird thought......
"Oh yeah, um... I wanted to thank you, too. For helpin' Snake out."
no subject
"It wasn't like I had much of a choice. Figured a few of you would complain if I left him in there to roast."

With the way Jake's vision wasn't recovered even now, and the way they'd looked when they came out of the room, they'd fallen into the water. And Snake couldn't swim with only one arm, which meant that Jake had had to support him.

Heiji lowered his voice a little, realizing he was being weirdly intense. "I'm serious, so... thanks."
no subject
"... You're welcome, I guess." How was he suppose to respond to that? He didn't say this often and he was hardly put into these situations so uhhh. "Didn't think it was that important to you."
no subject
"So... if there's anything I can do to help ya out, let me know."
no subject
"For starters, you can do me a favour and put these in my locker in the gym, then."
... Or maybe he was just taking those quiet two seconds to tie up his bag and hold out to Heiji. Good job, Jake.

ran off with it, cackling.looked at Jake for a second, then carried the bag away to put in Jake's locker. No use pretending like he didn't know which one it was. Probably it was the one with beard hairs and the faint smell of money. After a brief absence, he was back. "I asked Calhoun how much it'd cost to get a lock for one of them things, by the way. He said 150."
