You will be given 45 minutes to decide." And with that, the elevator doors open and the PA system turns itself off. It seems as if there are no rewards or any of that nonsense this time around... It got a little hectic, but it was much easier than the other rooms. Heiji's really good at working on the fly.

He hooked the umbrella pole up so it would get the electrical charge. Since he'd already messed with its sensors earlier, it was just getting it to touch the pole and short out.

It looks like the charge was a lot stronger than expected, though.

I am glad I found you because there's something I need to ask you. How good are you at climbing things?

It's obvious I'm going to need to know how to climb by myself in case I'm in a room with no help and there's a wall. I don't exactly know how I can do that so I'll need help testing methods. Will you help me?

Walls are difficult if there's no grip. I needed a boost from Ema to get past it. But if there's something to hold on to...

I can help you with that.

That's good to hear. Even with my arm, it's difficult to impossible to climb because there's finite amount I can grip with my hand. *Apparently they just didn't make prosthetics for mountain climbing. Or if they did, Snake did not have that model.*

Right. In that case, you'll need to focus your balance on your legs and guide yourself with your hand, instead of the other way around. If you push yourself up instead of pulling, too-- it won't strain your hand as much.

It might still be limiting depending on what you're trying to climb, but it should make it possible to get past certain obstacles if it's something you can use just your legs for.

*Snake honestly didn't consider pushing with his legs more than his hand. If it could work, he'd be able to climb walls. Just not as fast as everyone else.*

That would certainly be helpful. Could you teach me how?

I'm... not sure how good of a teacher I'd be, but... I can try.

[It could be dangerous for Snake if he got into another situation where he needed to climb, and no one was able to help him. He can't just leave it like that.]

The trees... they might be a good place to start. You can grab onto the branch with your hand and learn to push up with your feet.

So...I need to grab a branch and trying to climb using more of my feet?

Right. Find the branch with your hand and try finding a foothold on the bark. If you angle your legs, you'll have an easier time pushing inward and up.
