You will be given 45 minutes to decide." And with that, the elevator doors open and the PA system turns itself off. It seems as if there are no rewards or any of that nonsense this time around... Cut to mint plant sitting silently in a corner.

"Figured if worst came to worst, he could use it to make some tea. Or at least water that tastes somethin' like mint."

"It might be better if we actually had hot water." Man, how long has it even been since that was a thing in his life? "I wonder if there's any way to get some..."

"We made some during the blackout," said Heiji. "Used that Calhoun shrine for fuel. But it ain't like we can just have a campfire every day. And speakin' of hot water, it's been months since I've had a real bath."

He made a face like how do you expect him to work under these conditions. Cold water baths were not acceptable. "I think that's the first thing I'm gonna do when I get outta here."

"...If we just used the same pit, as long as we had fuel, we could probably use this room for small flames. It would be enough for the tea once in a while at least." Just. Don't tear the crap out of the garden, that's all he asks.

"Yeah, that fuel is the one main thing. Can't just start settin' things on fire every time we want some tea." No matter how much Hershel wanted it, that insatiable tea-drinking monster. Someone stop him.

"Though apparently Jake set a couch on fire. Surprised no one kicked up a fuss about that one, but I guess Zero don't much care."
