T H E  W A R E H O U S E Welcome to the 【 Warehouse 】. Or at least, another side of the Warehouse. While unknowing to the new batch of test subjects, it's almost identical to the first group's. There are a few elevators (obviously shut tight), every window is bolted shut, surveillance cameras in every corner, and there's a giant door with a 9 painted on it. There are noticeable differences and one of them is just how dark it is. The only source of artificial illumination in the lobby are a panel of florescent lights above the elevators, and the occasional flickering of the camera's LEDs. A few scattered and dying fire pits help provide a greater sense of visibility, but just by a slight margin. However, it's obvious to see (and to test) that all the doors are sealed tight and that there doesn't appear to be any apparent exits, which is quite a shame, really, considering that an exit would be quite desirable after noticing all the weapons littering the floor. While they're not your typical weapons (no guns, no swords, no axes), all the items on the ground seems heavily used and splattered with blood: a shovel, a pitchfork, a rake, trowels, scissors, knives, and such on. Some have seen more bloodshed than others, but regardless, none of these items seem particularly new. They have all seen better days, and the same could be said about the test subjects. Each and every character will awaken with various scrapes, bruises, and dried blood. The degree of injuries they may have on them will vary from character to character, but no one character will be unharmed. On top of that, they will all find a bracelet wrapped around their left wrists. It looks a lot like a digital watch, but characters will suspect it is broken, as the face is completely blank. There are two buttons on the top, but other than producing a satisfying click, pressing them does absolutely nothing. Trying to take it off is a futile effort as well, as they do not have a visible clasp for the characters to undo. To make this entire situation worse, test subjects will recall nothing. They may find objects that may resonate with them, that feel familiar in their hands, along with having a general idea of knowing just who they are (names, likes, dislikes, peeves, etc), but trying to remember what happened? Why they're here? Where they even are? It'd all be one giant blur and trying to force a memory only leads to a headache. So, well, test subjects, better start figuring things out. [Clearly. She gives a small sigh of relief once the blade is no longer in hand.]

Wh-why were you carrying something like that?

[As if the reason weren't completely obvious.]

[ Why are you making this hard for her, Rio... Why are you making her regret picking up that knife in the first place?? ]

Uh, well, it seemed to be the safest thing to do, since we woke up here hurt and all. Better safe than sorry, right?

[Because waving knives around young and innocent girls around her is threatening and terrible.

That said, good job Ellie, she seems even more panicked now.]

Y-you think someone here did all of this-?

[elliexir]

[ She wasn't waving it! She was just... holding it off to the side. Rio would be thankful if some evil bloke ran into it and Ellie saved the said, but goddammit... she's kind of normally good at this comforting thing, so this is going terribly wrong. ]

Maybe? I mean, its not like we'd do this to ourselves, but on the bright side, we're still alive, right? We got that going for us.

[ TRYING TO SEE IF THAT'D HELP CALM HER DOWN how the hell are you five years older than Ellie... ]

[Because Ellie's the one who is actually naive enough to fall for the ploy and drop her weapon.]

W-we're... alive.

[She seems to be puzzled as to how this is supposed to make them feel better. As far as desires go, being alive was pretty baseline.]

[elliexir]

[ Hey, she has a killer bite so she's got that going for her?? You can't disarm her teeth... ]

Yeah, and we're not hurt that badly. Things could be like ten times worse.

[toybombs]

[Teeth can be broken if you go about it right!]

B-but we don't even know where we are, or... or anything that happened!

[elliexir]

[ She can still bite people with broken teeth! Depending on how busted they are, it may or may not go better than flat unbroken teeth... ]

Well... I guess we'll figure that out? We're bound to find answers if we start looking around.

[ Goddammit, Rio, you're making this so hard for her to keep thinking positive for you. ]

[toybombs]

[Uuuuu...]

Y-you think... there might be clues...?

[elliexir]

Yeah, there's bound to be some. Especially if we all look together, we'd figure something out.

[toybombs]

[Well, at least that seems to calm her... somewhat. It takes a bit of sniffling, but eventually she composes herself.]

Then... L-let's try to look right now.

[elliexir]

[ oh thank god... ellie will take the sniffling over full blown crying any day... this is like a victory for her so boom, success!! ]

All right! That's the spirit.

How about we look around together, make sure we don't miss anything?

[ since she doesn't think rio would get very far on her own... ]

[toybombs]

Okay.

[She nods her head before slowly scanning the room.

...The room full of bloody and beaten tools.]

Wh-where should we start...?

[elliexir]

[ ... Yeah, don't look at those tools. Those, uh, aren't great. ]

Umm, well, we can't really see a lot with how dark it is... So maybe we should just stick to the walls and go around the room like that? We're bound to hit something.

[toybombs]

A-alright...

[Somehow, she doesn't sound terribly enthused. Still, she'll start moving towards the nearest wall, gingerly stepping over all the sharp and pointy things on the ground.]

[elliexir]

[ Ellie leads, walking in front of her, so she could carefully nudge away any bloodied tools with her foot. She made sure to grab her knife before she headed off, though (the one she put down). She wiped the blood off the blade on her pants and held onto it as she used her other hand to trace against the wall. She keeps going until she stops at the Number 9 door. ]

What's this suppose to be?

[She doesn't seem too fond of that knife either, but since Ellie is clearly trying to be nice about it, she'll let it slide. It's also better if at least one of them is prepared to attack, and even more so if it's Ellie who decides to take the responsibility so she doesn't have to.]

Is it... a door? [HMM, YOU THINK RIO?] Maybe it's a way out?

[ Would she just let this poor 14 girl take all the blame for stabbing someone? That's just heartless ]

Maybe? It sure has an ominous 9 on it.

[ She sure hopes that's in red paint and not blood. She walks over to it and puts down the knife on the ground so she can try and slip her fingertips into the edges of the door's openings. She'll just attempt to pull it open. ]

[ PULL PULL PULLLLLLLLL AAAAAAA ]

YEAH I'M DONE

[elliexir]

[ And then she stops, bringing her left hand to herself and shaking it. ]

Fuck, owowowow.

[ You know what, probably trying to force open a door with a sliced up hand wasn't the brightest idea she had yet... ]

[toybombs]

[Gasp!]

A-are you okay?

[elliexir]

Y-Yeah, I think so.

[ No, not really, her hand started bleeding again. Ughhhh. ]

But looks like we're not going out that way. It barely budged.

[toybombs]

It didn't move at all...

[It's then that she seems to notice Ellie's hand. Oh no!]

Y-you're bleeding!

[Ohhh noooo, what should they do??]

[elliexir]

[ She holds her bleeding hand, cupping it close to her. ]

Yeah, shit... I guess that was a bad idea. Man, this really hurts...

[toybombs]

[She looks around, her expression desperate and worried.]

We don't have any cloth... We need to stop the bleeding!

[Um, um, um...! She's about to move when she stumbles on one of the tools on the ground, only just saving herself from falling into a bunch of sharp and pointy objects because she managed to press herself against the wall first.]

Eek!

[Sorry Ellie, she's useless.]
