welcome to round two
![]() Welcome to the 【 Warehouse 】. Or at least, another side of the Warehouse. While unknowing to the new batch of test subjects, it's almost identical to the first group's. There are a few elevators (obviously shut tight), every window is bolted shut, surveillance cameras in every corner, and there's a giant door with a 9 painted on it. There are noticeable differences and one of them is just how dark it is. The only source of artificial illumination in the lobby are a panel of florescent lights above the elevators, and the occasional flickering of the camera's LEDs. A few scattered and dying fire pits help provide a greater sense of visibility, but just by a slight margin. However, it's obvious to see (and to test) that all the doors are sealed tight and that there doesn't appear to be any apparent exits, which is quite a shame, really, considering that an exit would be quite desirable after noticing all the weapons littering the floor. While they're not your typical weapons (no guns, no swords, no axes), all the items on the ground seems heavily used and splattered with blood: a shovel, a pitchfork, a rake, trowels, scissors, knives, and such on. Some have seen more bloodshed than others, but regardless, none of these items seem particularly new. They have all seen better days, and the same could be said about the test subjects. Each and every character will awaken with various scrapes, bruises, and dried blood. The degree of injuries they may have on them will vary from character to character, but no one character will be unharmed. On top of that, they will all find a bracelet wrapped around their left wrists. It looks a lot like a digital watch, but characters will suspect it is broken, as the face is completely blank. There are two buttons on the top, but other than producing a satisfying click, pressing them does absolutely nothing. Trying to take it off is a futile effort as well, as they do not have a visible clasp for the characters to undo. To make this entire situation worse, test subjects will recall nothing. They may find objects that may resonate with them, that feel familiar in their hands, along with having a general idea of knowing just who they are (names, likes, dislikes, peeves, etc), but trying to remember what happened? Why they're here? Where they even are? It'd all be one giant blur and trying to force a memory only leads to a headache. So, well, test subjects, better start figuring things out. Relying on your memories clearly isn't helping. |

Shit...
[ Well, that's great. She totally loves waking up to random cuts she can't remember getting. She remains sitting, using her uninjured hand to hold her fucked up hand's wrist, and looks around. It's only then that she notices all the weapons and dried blood on the grounds, kick starting the small amount of panic in her stomach. ]
Oh, fuck.
[ ALL RIGHT THIS IS GREAT WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE TO WAKE UP 10/10, two thumbs up, five gold stars, will def come back and recommend. Ellie takes no time to stand up and find herself a knife or something to hold in self-defence because yeah... who the fuck are these other people and whaaaaat the fuck :/ ]

Don't...don't scream so loud, kid. *Bearings, right, what are those? Maria will go look for them.*

He felt strangely empty of feeling, which to him seemed stranger than waking up without his memories. Hisoka swept his hair back with one hand. His makeup was somewhat smudged, but he tried fixing it as best he could in the reflection on the knife.
He was dressed like a member of a circus troupe, or maybe a magician. It felt comfortable for him, not like a costume at all.

She sits up slowly, her eyes bleary as they focus on the items around her. Bloody, dirtied weapons, all of them. And others waking up in a similar state around her, too. Her eyes widen as her vision sharpens, and she utters a small cry, stifling it only a half-second too late.]

Letting out a long hiss of breath through gritted teeth, he rolls (mostly) smoothly to his feet, staring at the others. Worse than the pain, they look completely unfamiliar, and he squares his shoulders, digs in rather than shrink back. Eventually he pipes up, voice low and gruff, but loud enough to carry.]

Not that anyone could seem them behind his
ugly pinkfine magenta suit. For a moment he stares at his hands, his fingers look like they had been clawing at something that broke his nails in a few very unpleasant places. Great. Lovely. He sighs as he stands, ignoring the various aches in order to get a better look at what really mattered here- surroundings and... weapons?
Yeah, anyone who finds him will find him looking over everything grimly, maybe even muttering quietly to himself just a bit too quietly to hear.]

A NEW AREA
[ There is a dark corridor, approximately two meters long, then another door, standing open. It enters into a greenhouse, at least as large as the warehouse lobby, with a few structures to the west side of the room, and what look to be fields of grasses to the east. It is lit from above by what looks to be an overcast sky? Maybe? With the smudged greenhouse panes and the diffuse light, there is no way to tell what time it is. ]
[ Here is a map of the Greenhouse with all the notes. Please click on the second tab at the bottom to see a list of supplies and whatnots that could be found. ]
[ This is an open area that any any test subject is allowed to use, but please inform the mods of any major destruction your character may do to this place! ]

He reached down slowly and picked it up with both hands. Strangely, it did not seem agitated as he put it under one arm and walked over to the greenhouse. There he sat among the sprouts, smiling and stroking the hen. Hopefully no one needed to get into the greenhouse or anything for the next hour or two.
Hopefully no one was concerned for the safety and wellbeing of this chicken...

Which is to say, the goat is now attempting to eat her hair. Aid would be appreciated.]

A NEW TEST SUBJECT
[ Upon investigating, it becomes apparent of what was the source of the sound: the suspicious elevators has finally opened up. The small key card readers by each door has changed its LED from red to green, and dim fluorescent lights barely brighten up the rooms. ]
[ Inside each of the elevators (when further examined, a plate that reads 'AMBIDEX ROOM' are above each doorway), it is presented as an exact replica of any typical lift. All besides from the large machine against the back wall. This contraption appears powered off with the black screen and no apparent on switch, so there doesn't seem to be any use for it. Every single one of these rooms are identical to each other. ]
[ ... Asides from one. ]
[ At the far end in the last Ambidex Room, a young girl, dressed in a high school uniform, lays face down on the ground. On her left wrist is a watch, identical to the other test subject's, right down to the blank and unresponsive screen. She remains still on the ground and it is only upon closer inspection that it becomes clear that she's not breathing. Upon flipping her over, cuts, scrapes, and bruises (just like the ones that everyone woke up with) cover her arms, legs, neck, and face. There are visible signs of struggle and her wrists show old rope burn marks, quite possibly from being tied. The most notable injuries however, and the likely cause of death, are the multiple stab wounds across her chest. Blood soaks through her clothes, and by how damp they are, it becomes clear that this is a recent murder. This body could not be older than a day, but it's a shame, really... ]
[ If only you could remember anything beyond two or three hours ago. Then you might have been able to know who killed this girl... ]
no subject
Probably.
"How theatrical ♦. Someone is playing games with us. I'm sure they have plenty more planned."
