one new mouse
It's been two days since the vote. Since then, there has been little activity. The speakers have never been turned on since that day, and there's been no sign of the owner of that voice. No further contact has been made, and it seems as if the group was abandoned again without a clue as to why they're here. ... Unless any members of the group are lucky enough to wake up early enough to catch a glimpse of something, uh, "new"... In the Greenhouse, while the artificial sky is a reddish colour from "sunrise", a large metal ladder is placed in front of the sickly trees. Beside the ladder is a children's wagon, filled with apples, and on top is an upright mouse with a gas mask... Yeah, as if this place couldn't get any weirder. The mouse quietly mumbles to itself, something along the lines of "... work... not paid... test subjects... spoiled", and holds an apple in one paw and a tape gun in the other. It appears to be taping the apples to the tree branches, one at a time, occasionally climbing down to grab an armful of apples to bring up. It's only a third way through the pile of apples (which only seems to be about a dozen...) so catch it while you can. |
A NEW ARRIVAL
[ Welcome to the 【 Warehouse 】. ]
[ Upon waking up, you will quickly notice just how dark it is. Asides from the single light dim light inside the elevators (named 'AMBIDEX ROOM' and a panel of florescent lights on the ceilings above the elevators, there are no other sources of artificial illumination in the lobby. Luckily, it appears that someone (Calhoun, most likely) has re-lit the small fire pits throughout to provide a greater sense of visibility, but just by a slight margin. With this, however, it'd somewhat easier to see that it's strangely empty for a warehouse. Aside from the elevators you've come out of, there's nothing else here. In fact, the longer you look around, the stranger everything looks. ]
[ Every window has been bolted shut, with no way of removing the steel coverings. Along the walls are numerous amounts of surveillance cameras, watching every bit of movement and listening to the sounds of everyone and everything. Every door is locked up tight, with no clear way of opening them, and there's one giant door with a 9 painted on it. To make matters weirder, you will find yourself with various scrapes, bruises, and dried blood. On top of that, you will all find a bracelet wrapped around your left wrist. It looks a lot like a digital watch, but you might suspect that it is broken, as the face is completely blank. There are two buttons on the top, but other than producing a satisfying click, pressing them does absolutely nothing. Trying to take it off is a futile effort as well, as they do not have a visible clasp to undo. ]
[ Finally, the cherry on top of all this? You will recall nothing. ]
[ You may find objects that may resonate with you, that feel familiar in your hands, along with having a general idea of knowing just who they are (names, likes, dislikes, peeves, etc), but trying to remember what happened? Why you're here? Where you even are? It'd all be one giant blur and trying to force a memory only leads to a headache. The whole situation reeks dangerous and suspicious, but there seems to be a lot of people here, so go introduce yourselves? ]
[ As for the "old-timers", come meet your new fellow test subject. They're probably not dangerous... Probably. ]
Re: A NEW ARRIVAL
Atsuro looks around as he quickly try to make sense of this situation.
Nothing about this make any sense to him. And to top it off, he...doesn't remember what happened? What?
To anyone that comes in, they would see a Japanese teenage boy, who looks to be about in the late teenage years. He's looking around with wary and scared eyes. If they get closer, they could see a cut with some already dried up blood coming from it on his cheek. He didn't notice the cut, yet.]
hello ;)
Oh boy, uh, all right, this is a thing. Okay... So! I guess you're wondering where you are and what happened and all that, right?
[ That's totally the way to greet new people... ]
hey baby
What? [Oh yeah, she asked a thing.] Uh... yeah. I have no idea what's going on. Do you know?
[So he wake up in a strange warehouse and there's this girl who came to him, asking if he doesn't know what's up. Right now, Atsuro really wants information first before he can start worrying about other things. Or anything to calm down his worries, before he starts overthinking things.]
just tell me if this isn't okay!
...H-he's hurt, too! Then was he here earlier as well...?
eww get out of here dani
I think so? But I've never seen him until now... [ She whispers over to Rio (wasn't this elevator empty as well? Did he just appear in it?) then faces Atsuro again. ] But well... We don't know that much more than you. I think we've only been here for a few days? All I can tell you is that we're stuck too.
let's have the loosest tagging order
"He's hurt, too"? So it's... normal to wake up with injuries? That's just raise more and more questions. He looks back at Ellie and listens to her answer. Which... wasn't that much, but it's better than nothing.]
So we're stuck in some strange warehouse and we have no idea what's going on. No leads? Notes? Anything?
[Must... not overreact and overthink things.]
loosest tagging order is my middle name
[ Sheeeee didn't get a chance to talk to it yet but she probably will... with someone... ]
it's a good thing I love you guys so much despite that slight against me
[It comes out sort of thoughtful, if forlorn. Those apples looked really delicious... ]
The reason we voted was to choose who we thought murdered a girl in the elevator. We chose someone, but we just didn't have enough evidence to know anything for sure. It seems like a lot happened before we lost our memories, but nobody knows what, or why we're even here.
no subject
[Okay, okay. One at a time. They got here (like him), found a dead body (NOT LIKE HIM) and voted for who is the murderer. Knowing that there's someone who could be a murderer doesn't do anything to make him feel better.]
Who did you vote as the murderer? If they're here and is really the murderer, that means it's dangerous to be around here.
[He can worry about the memories in a moment. The murderer thing is a bit more pressing and immediate! He did mentally file the thing about a mouse away for later.]

And he's not a clown, but he's holding a tennis racquet? He blinks and stares at him.]
Me? I should ask you that first. [This situation isn't friendly for first meetings.] I'm Atsuro. Who are you?
no subject
[master of small talk he ain't. kaidou doesn't seem to be attempting to look threatening or anything, but his slouch and apparently perpetual frown aren't quite friendly, either. honestly you'd be doing better with the creepy clown, he's at least a decent conversationalist.]

I...don't know. I just woke up not that long ago. I have no idea how long I've been out for.
no subject
...Hmph. Same as the rest of us. No one looks familiar, I suppose.
no subject
Yeah. None of you guys ring a bell to me. So we're all a bunch of strangers in one place.
