A M B I D E X  V O T I N G Everyone (besides one newbie) should know how things work by now: you leave your respective puzzle rooms, head downstairs to the first floor, swipe your Ambidex Room cards, and enter your elevator. Now, this is where it gets different, because here's your prizes for this round! For anyone who chooses Betray, and gets betrayed in return, well you get a nice can of food! What kind inside? That's a surprise! Oh, and 15 coins for each person. As for anyone who chooses Betray and their opponent chooses Ally, well, the reward is always much bigger! Calhoun toss in three cans of food, for those poor saps who don't have access to the cafeteria yet, and along with 50 whole coins, each for a PAIR! Amazing! That just might be enough to put some of you in a nice comfy spot where you can start buying food or amazing goodies in Calhoun's Corner: Sundries and Collectibles for the Discerning Test Subject. Isn't that just great? For anyone who chooses Ally, well, if your opponent chooses Ally as well, then you'll just get the usual BP increase. How boring, but at least you can be all lovely-dovely with each other. If you're the poor sap that chose Ally and got stabbed in the back, well, sorry, you only lose BP, but you might get a little something. He'll find you later about that. But anyway, happy voting! [ Once 45 minutes has passed, the Ambidex Rooms open up again, allowing everyone to come outside. The moment they step out, Calhoun will be at his usual spot under the screen, impatient as ever. ]

Hurry up, you murdering test subjects! If you take so long getting here, I'll starve to death!

[ Clearly still referring back to Akiko, who died not too long ago (yes, he is still extremely bitter about that), but once everyone arrives, he claps his front paws, and the screen turns on to reveal the score: ]

Heiji was grinning as he approached Snake and Clive. Once he got there, he leaned in and reached out a hand to ruffle Clive's hair. Enjoy dealing with that when you woke up, Clive.

"That's two points closer to 9 for this guy! Great minds think alike!" He beamed at Snake. "You want me to take him for now? Bet he's getting pretty heavy. Right?"

Lovey-dovey, indeed.

After speaking with Snake, he'd head around to check on the others, particularly Piper and Sasuke...

You did specify it had to be a mountain of food and what was promised hardly qualifies. *Snake looked strained. Trying to pick up a person involved using both hands and keeping Clive picked up mostly involved his right arm.*

You can go ahead and take him. *Handing him over, which was all about using hands, made his vision waver for a moment.*

This time Heiji simply grabbed Clive and hauled him up onto one shoulder like a literal sack of potatoes. "Hey there, you okay? You feeling faint?"

Maybe he shouldn't have let Snake carry Clive out of the AB room...

[Sasuke sets a brisk walk for the screen once he realizes where he's supposed to go, and it's only once the point distribution is revealed that he gives a short sigh of relief.

That's one game down. He just needs four more points and he won't have to worry about the cafeteria anymore...

Heiji grinned at Sasuke. "Hey, looks like you made it! How'd ya do in that puzzle room? Didn't get yourself knifed or anything, right?"

Which was... a real concern of his considering what had happened a few puzzle rooms ago, actually...

[ Guess who is completely refusing to come out? This guy! He doesn't seem to care about the results, he already knows what his will be. He hopes everyone else will be just as agreeable with one another. But his protests don't just include wrecking he AB room. No, he's going to have his own little sit in protest as well.]

I think...I think I need to lie down... *he staggers off to find a safe place to do that, white as a ghost*

*You'd think Snake would be happy that he wasn't betrayed at all. He doesn't really care at this point. He's curled on the ground in a corner of the lounge in an almost fetal position on his left side, using his whole body as a cushion for his right arm to rest on.

Do you feel like inquiring about him, or kicking him while he's down?*

Nuh uh, there was no way Heiji was just going to let Snake crawl off in a hole somewhere and maybe turn out to be another Akiko. He followed Snake at once, careful to brace Clive so that he wouldn't fall off.

"Hey, hey! Hold it together! You can lie down in the lounge again, that way I can keep an eye on both of ya."

Hershel felt a little like he had a headache that would never quit, puzzle room were just great and boy was he tired, but he was still pretty damn happy. He hadn't been all that worried about Enjolras- alright well, he had been a bit concerned the gas wouldn't wear off completely in time but luckily it seemed to- it had been Jake and the new people he had been concerned about.

But they were okay, he was almost surprised and certainly cheerful about it. It almost made you forget a girl blew up, haha...

"Heiji-" He greeted when he saw the other man, smiling and offering a wave. "I have to say I'm surprised and relieved we had such a successful round, all things considered."

[Hershel is so gd relieved about your results, Sasuke, and it's kind of obvious as he walks over.] How was your first puzzle room, Sasuke?

[His tone is a touch dry because haha having your first puzzle room with Jake he's been there, also puzzle rooms, the most fun???]

[He's just going to. look around for Enjolras, realize one of the rooms isn't open, look around again then ????

Oh for god's sake.]

Um- [Who was he talking to? No one really. He knocks on the door, not sure if anyone can even hear him. What if that gas hadn't worn off and made Enjolras do something stupid?
