Chop chop, everyone downstairs to the first floor! You're all done the puzzle rooms, so you know what to do. Well, most of you, but it's pretty basic, just enter any Ambidex Room you like (they're not elevators, you ignorant test subjects) then vote! How does voting work? Very simple! Pick Ally or Betray, and that's it! But with every round, there's always some prizes, depending on what you vote, so here's this rounds:

For anyone who chooses Ally, well, if your opponent chooses Ally as well, then 2BP for each of you. You get all that friendship, blah blah, whatever.

For anyone who chooses Betray, and gets a Betray in return, your BP doesn't change at all, but you do get two cans of food and 15 coins for each person, what, you have a problem with it being the same as last time? We're busy over here, quit your bellyaching.

Now, the best part: for anyone who chooses Betray and their opponent chooses Ally, Calhoun will be very generous with his prizes, again! You'll get two cans of food and a memory! We're switching it up a bit. Also, as usual, those who pick Betray get 3BP instead of just 2.

But if you're the poor sap that chose Ally and got stabbed in the back, well, sorry, you lose 2 BP. At least you got stabbed for the greater good, right? And plus, you might get a little something. He'll talk to you later about it.

But anyway, happy voting! Calhoun will see all of you later with the results.

[Wow, are you trying to say he's as incompetent as you, he is deeply offended by that.

The shaking and the super concerned voice manage to get through to him, so Clive finally opens his eyes about halfway because that's all he can manage right now. Hershel's face comes into focus soon enough, and his brain pieces finally together what's going on. He lets out a yawn before he responds.]

Oh, Hershel... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-

[His train of thought is quickly forgotten when he sees the state of Hershel's clothes. Holy fucking shit, he got himself hurt again, didn't he. Don't even try to deny it. Cue both a concerned and super judgmental look.]

Weren't you in the morality room?

[Excuse you he's puzzle jesus over here okay. Only things happened and maybe that was a bit of a strong title- look, he's worried about your tiny ass, accept the fussing. It's part of your life now you decided to forgive him.

Hershel just regards him for a moment, a weirdly intense moment before putting a hand over his chest and sighing.] Oh, good, for a moment I thought something was wrong. That blasted gallery... I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised you and your team got through it so well. [Smart lot and Zelos was totally awake right.

Oh right. Haha. Traps.] Yes, it ah... got complicated. [So going to avoid explaining the 'Jake strikes again and got everyone hurt' thing, not when Jake had two whole stars in that CR chart. ] As it turns out destroying Calhoun's screen triggers a small explosion.

[He didn't ask for this, he wants his money back!!!

Clive grins at the mention of the gallery, sitting up now because if he doesn't then he'll probably fall back asleep tbh.]

We didn't have any trouble with the gallery at all. We made it through the whole thing without setting off a single trap.

[And it was all thanks to Zelos's hard work and dedication. They were so proud of him. That's totally why they all allied.]

So Calhoun's screen was destroyed, was it? Hmmmm, I wonder who was responsible for that...

[It's obvious by his tone that he knows exactly who did it. Jake is the only one in their group who possesses both the strength and the stupidity required to pull a stunt like that.]

Hershel is both very glad for that because at least someone got through. He's also still miffed at Calhoun for throwing knives at his group for a very simple mistake. Calhoun sucks.] Oh, I meant to ask, is Mr. Wilder ill? I thought I saw him being pulled around earlier.

[Surely nothing suspicious happened there, people coma'd all the time right??? Right. Totally.]

It... was complicated. [Just keep using that vague word, it's a good explanation.] At least Ema was able to get medical supplies this round, I'm worried about Jake though. He's a stubborn prat, he'd probably let himself bleed out on the couch before asking for a spare bandage. [Sigh.]

[he regrets everything........]

He could be. He didn't even wake up for the puzzle room this morning. Snake and I had to go find him and drag him in. First me, then Enjolras, and now Zelos... it's terribly concerning.

[Zelos is actually awake now and rightfully accused Clive of putting him in that coma, but Hershel doesn't need to know any of that.

At the mention of Jake being a dumbass, Clive joins Hershel in that sigh.]

I have more bandages than I know what to do with. Kuzuryuu wouldn't take them when I offered them to him; I doubt it'd go any better with Jake.

[Because Kuzuryuu is most definitely mini!Jake.]

It is... I wish we could get more information about this illness, or whatever it really is. [Doesn't suspect a thing. A+, Clive.

And have a vaguely amused if not a little exasperated look.] I've heard, Kuzuryuu is ah... not a fan, to put it lightly. As for Jake yes, I doubt it. At least it seems like you two are on slightly better terms.

[And he considers a moment.] Clive, I don't have any coins right now but when I do could I buy those bandages from you? I could probably convince Jake to use them, as long as he doesn't know where they're coming from.

Unfortunately, I doubt Calhoun or Zero will be very forthcoming about that sort of information.

[Of course he isn't suspicious, there's absolutely nothing to be suspicious about at all.]

You think so? I don't expect it to last, personally.

[Because Jake is Jake and Clive is Clive, they will inevitably piss each other off again soon enough.

He pauses for a moment to let out a yawn, then pulls out his medical kit from his bag and holds it out to Hershel.]

Here, just take the whole kit. No payment necessary. All it has are those bandages and disinfectant, anyway.
