ambidex voting #7
![]() Chop chop, everyone downstairs to the first floor! You're all done the puzzle rooms, so you know what to do. Well, most of you, but it's pretty basic, just enter any Ambidex Room you like (they're not elevators, you ignorant test subjects) then vote! How does voting work? Very simple! Pick Ally or Betray, and that's it! But with every round, there's always some prizes, depending on what you vote, so here's this rounds: For anyone who chooses Ally, well, if your opponent chooses Ally as well, then 2BP for each of you. You get all that friendship, blah blah, whatever. For anyone who chooses Betray, and gets a Betray in return, your BP doesn't change at all, but you do get two cans of food and 15 coins for each person, what, you have a problem with it being the same as last time? We're busy over here, quit your bellyaching. Now, the best part: for anyone who chooses Betray and their opponent chooses Ally, Calhoun will be very generous with his prizes, again! You'll get two cans of food and a memory! We're switching it up a bit. Also, as usual, those who pick Betray get 3BP instead of just 2. But if you're the poor sap that chose Ally and got stabbed in the back, well, sorry, you lose 2 BP. At least you got stabbed for the greater good, right? And plus, you might get a little something. He'll talk to you later about it. But anyway, happy voting! Calhoun will see all of you later with the results. |

[and eating though... She frowns at the idea; scientifically speaking sure yes stomach lining was great and you need blood sugar and enzymes and other biology words but in practice the idea of food still makes her nauseous. She is uncertain on the odds of being able to dry swallow the horse pills though... As for the other supplies, it's mostly a case of properly cleaning and setting the wounds. Stitches will have to wait. Having no doctor in the box is a hassle.
Roused with this temporary plan of action (what plan??), she tidies up and heads to the cafeteria. ...oh right, she'd been talking]
'M not giving him anything. If he knows it's there, he'll just do dumber stuff. Compensated risk, or whatever it's called.

Ema's mind was a mysterious place, and for a moment hershel wasn't exactly sure where she was headed because share with the class man, but wait duh food, right. he gets up and follows after.]
Ema, you say that as though he wouldn't do stupid things regardless. [such high opinions of jake over here.] To be fair I doubt he'd take the bandages anyway, I can't believe how stubborn you two are sometimes.
no subject
[anyway, gonna grab some of this "healthy" "stew" apparently on offer today and then sit down to take drugs, gonna be sweet (Hershel's idea, gosh work on your mind-reading skills kid)]
Don't lump me with him. I listen.
no subject
Maybe a little more, I'll admit. [he brow raises.] Though I still had to debate getting much needed medical supplies with you for longer than a less stubborn person would have.
no subject
[she looks away, as if properly cowed, then looks less away, as if less cowed]
...Less long than a more stubborn person would have, though.
no subject
You realize it takes a special kind of stubborn to make that argument. Frankly I'm impressed, they should give awards for reaching this level of dedicated tenacity.

[a pause, then, soft]
I appreciate it. A lot. Just so you know.
no subject
and he pauses as well before smiling.]
Think nothing of it, Ema. We're friends, that's just what friends do. [this afterschool special brought to you by...] I saw some twine in there, does your injury from before need stitches? [because boy that was going to be a fun thing to happen. not painful at all]
no subject
...Maybe I'll get lucky.
[she is not sure she can deal with sewing up her own guts, tbh so let's just think about that later]
...How's your leg? There's probably antibiotic ointment.
no subject
[he can only imagine how bad that could get, especially if she was still concussion loopy without realizing it.]
Oh, it's alright- actually if you have anything wrapped in plastic there I could certainly use the plastic. Wrapping it in cloth of any sort would just agitate it, I think.
no subject
Don't...let's talk about something else, please. [rather green, she pushes away the bowl, untouched]
If you see any plastic in there, take it. It's not like I'm fussed about things being sterile.
no subject
[eat your soup when you stop thinking about sewing up your own skin, ema!!! and he nods.]
Thank you, I appreciate it. [sigh] I can't believe what a mess all these rooms were. The traps have been getting worse.

...Speaking of, I gotta lie down in the next five minutes or less. You sure you're alright?

[oh right did she give you any plastic? well at some point that is possibly right now she offers up her empty snackoo package, it does not have even a crumb left but still smells like delicious chocolate snack]
no subject
[whoa, delicious smelling. he takes it with a smile.] Thank you, Ema, this will help a lot.
no subject
[and she looks relieved at his expression, lightly placing her hand over his] Snackoos are traditional healing, after all. ...Be good, okay?
