ambidex voting #15
![]() Once everyone exits their respective rooms, Zero's voice will be heard over the speakers: "Proceed into the Ambidex Rooms and cast your vote. You will be given 45 minutes to decide." And with that, the elevator doors open and the PA system turns itself off. It seems as if there are no rewards or any of that nonsense this time around... |

Even if he couldn't really agree on the not telling Sasuke front, but wayyyy too much of a doormat to push that anymore with only the information he had.

Well. As okay as possible, anyway. "So you feel like gettin' something to eat? You been asleep for a while now."
no subject
He considered a moment- he really didn't feel all that hungry but appetite was a little hard to come by when the menu was grey, grey, lumps and more grey. "Yes, I suppose I should- we should, really. To the cafeteria, then?" And he paused a moment. "You don't happen to have any plastic, or something that could cover a burn without getting caught in the wound like gauze would?"
Hershel you should probably explain why you want this instead of standing there, looking thoughtful about it.

Was it Jake, it was always Jake...

He shrugged a bit helplessly, medical knowledge, who did he look like, a handsome Japanese doctor just trying to make it to a better tomorrow. "Maybe leaving it be would be better then."
no subject
Although if he didn't, too late now.

He really needed to learn first aid...
no subject
"But Jake knows first aid, right? He should at least know enough to dunk his hand in some water afterwards." So why didn't he? Pride? Because he'd deemed the injury minor?
As they arrived in the cafeteria, Heiji grabbed a tray. "You know what, we never really got around to talking about how to treat wounds, did we? Let's do that after this."
no subject
He paused as he grabbed his tray. "Really, you wouldn't mind? The more any of us know the better, I suppose. With the way things are going-" He shrugged. He kind of expected a few injuries this round of rooms.

"Taking away someone's memories and bringing them back, that's one thing. It's possible in theory because you don't really erase them... you prevent that person from being able to access those memories for a while, that's all. But giving me someone else's memory, that's something else altogether. It's not like I could have gotten it back, because it didn't happen to me in the first place, understand?
"The ability to take someone's memories, store them, and give them to someone else... that's something no one can do. No one I've heard of, anyway. It's the same with Calhoun -- why didn't we recognize the machinery making him work?"
no subject
"Not only that but if Calhoun really is an AI that's far beyond anything that should be possible, at least from what little I can remember." He added. "But what do you think that means? Zero clearly has access to resources and technology we seem barely able to comprehend."

He deliberately left out the when. "When the blackout happened, the heat started to go real fast. That would suggest that wherever we are, it's somewhere that's similarly cold. Underground maybe, or somewhere with a naturally cold climate.
"There're multiple generators here, which we saw, and the doors around here are more than strong enough to ensure that a normal person or even multiple people can't get out if they're locked down. Sounds like a bunker with redundant power sources to me. And what do people use bunkers for?"
