ambidex voting #3
![]() After escaping your rooms, talking with others, swiping your Ambidex Room cards, and entering, Calhoun appears on the screen to very briefly explain how the AB Voting works (45 minutes to either choose to Ally or Betray, you gain/lose points depending on what your opponent chooses), but to also introduce this round's prizes. That's right, this round has a whole new set of prizes! They're a bit different from the last round, so listen carefully! For anyone who chooses Betray, they will be getting a standard first aid kit and a can of food. Calhoun noticed that some of you managed to hurt themselves in the puzzle rooms, so he highly encourages you to take advantage of this one-time opportunity for free medical supplies! For anyone who chooses Betray and their opponent chooses Ally, you will get a memory regain instead of a can of food! After all, you'll have access to the cafeteria so it won't really be necessary. For anyone who chooses Ally, well, if your opponent chooses Ally as well, not only will all of your BP increase, you'll even get a gold star of friendship! Doesn't that sound wonderful? If you're the poor sap that chose Ally and got stabbed in the back, well, sorry, you only lose BP, but maybe Calhoun will have something for you. He likes all of his test subjects, so he won't forget anyone here. But anyway, happy voting! Calhoun will see all of you later with the results. |

Uh,
No, no, you should hold onto it. It might come in handy someday.

I can't believe how long we've been here now... It's getting hard to keep track.

And it's been too long. Way too long for how little progress we've made. [she opens her mouth to continue, then glances at the front of the room, pressing her lips together instead]

[and he glances over when she does, looking curious.] Is everything ok, Ema?

...Don't worry about it. And...take it or give it away, but don't toss it. That's wasteful.

[He shakes his head] I won't, though I'm not sure how to say here, do you want the knife I just pulled out of my arm? [...] Well, besides how I said it to you. Sorry, that was a strange thing to do, wasn't it? [what a long, weird day] Maybe Heiji will want it, he's seems to be starting a collection of strange things.

[it was almost--sweet, if that was a thing you could say about awkwardly offering weaponry that had injured you to a friend, but-- whatever, that was just stupid. being stuck here for a week and a half must be making her punchy]
...Could use it to try making a tunnel.

... well, that certainly has an old movie prison sort of charm to it. [He regards the tiny, stupid knife for a moment before placing it to the side with a sigh, fiddling with the edge of his dumb tie bandaging because nerves.] You know I've been thinking, how big could this warehouse possibly be? How many more rooms could he have like these puzzle rooms? He's going to run out sometime.

[He glances around] I can't say I've noticed anything like that. The closest was that Jake was able to break the cabinet in that puzzle room with no repercussions.

[He shifts his arm back down for now, thoughtful.] It's not like it would take too long either, this place seems smaller and smaller the longer we spend here.

[A door that was likely completely locked, and he taps it with his foot. He turns to Ema with a small smile.] Any idea how to pick electronic locks?
