ambidex voting #3
![]() After escaping your rooms, talking with others, swiping your Ambidex Room cards, and entering, Calhoun appears on the screen to very briefly explain how the AB Voting works (45 minutes to either choose to Ally or Betray, you gain/lose points depending on what your opponent chooses), but to also introduce this round's prizes. That's right, this round has a whole new set of prizes! They're a bit different from the last round, so listen carefully! For anyone who chooses Betray, they will be getting a standard first aid kit and a can of food. Calhoun noticed that some of you managed to hurt themselves in the puzzle rooms, so he highly encourages you to take advantage of this one-time opportunity for free medical supplies! For anyone who chooses Betray and their opponent chooses Ally, you will get a memory regain instead of a can of food! After all, you'll have access to the cafeteria so it won't really be necessary. For anyone who chooses Ally, well, if your opponent chooses Ally as well, not only will all of your BP increase, you'll even get a gold star of friendship! Doesn't that sound wonderful? If you're the poor sap that chose Ally and got stabbed in the back, well, sorry, you only lose BP, but maybe Calhoun will have something for you. He likes all of his test subjects, so he won't forget anyone here. But anyway, happy voting! Calhoun will see all of you later with the results. |

that was unexpected. she might be turning a little pink at that and the fact that he's so happy, but she might be forced to throw something at him if he mentions it, so let's just pretend it never happened]
Lunkhead idiot, got it. Maybe you should sit down, are you actively bleeding?
no subject
[... and yeah, that's the nail on the head. He nods.] In his defense he also broke the glass of the cabinet and nothing happened, trying to force the puzzle must have seemed viable at the time.
Oh, I think it's mostly stopped now... I uh- honestly I don't have the first clue of what to do with it besides keep it clean. [Sitting... actually sounds good so he will go lean against the wall, carefully sliding down to take a seat.] I'm more worried about Heiji and Jake, they're very... well, excitable in their own ways. I hope they're being careful.
no subject
No need to worry, they probably aren't.
And as for your wound, there isn't much else you can do here... Make sure you eat and keep hydrated? --Here, rest your arm on that fluffy head of yours. Keeping the wound high should help slow the bloodflow or something...
[oh man, is she fussing? this is awful :<]
no subject
[and then listens to Ema's
fussadvice, nodding along.] Ah, that makes sense. Ok... like this? [He lifts his arm and rests it on his head, wincing a little because moving it kind of hurt and he's a normal highschool kid sort of ok, he's not used to being stabbed.][and he smiles at Ema for her troubles] Thank you... um, honestly I don't know how Jake and Heiji can be so flippant about this. Oh, that reminds me, how's your arm, Ema?

Better than yours. ...Light had already gotten burnt by the one doll, so I knew to stand back. Hadn't expected it to throw the damned thing, but it wasn't a situation where I was coming out looking like a pin cushion.
no subject
Oh, that's what the red doll does... We triggered the one with the knives and the other- the tired doll just um... screamed. Loudly. Then shot this green liquid around, it was disgusting but I'd take that over the knives any day. [Besides only jake got hit by that vomit, hehehe.]
I was too busy covering my ears from the screaming to really notice what the doll with the knife was doing... Zero really must not care if we're killed or not, if anyone had been hit in the neck- [He looks distinctly uncomfortable- yeah, they were kind of lucky, ultimately.]
no subject
Just...try not to touch anything for a while.
We're supposed to have enough points to eat now, right?
no subject
Okay, I'm going to try to be careful. You should too though, in a situation like this infection would be a huge problem. We brought one of the cleaner bedsheets out to use for bandaging, so if you ever need it.
[He nods, brightening a bit] Oh, yes, at the very least we have that. [Besides Clive hahahahaha..... ] I can't say I'm excited to see what Calhoun's going to offer and call 'food' but it's got to be better than beans all the time.
no subject
And good thinking on the bedsheets, too. Seems like we can get away with taking stuff from the rooms...for now, anyway.
no subject
I think it was Heiji's idea... or maybe Jake's? Strange, I don't really remember. [It's been a long day ok] Heiji grabbed a few things I think, he's probably right that we should take as much as we could get- oh, um...
,small>[He paused a moment before reaching into his pocket and pulling out the stupid, now clean, little knife he had been stabbed with.] Do you want this, Ema? It's not much, and I'm hoping you'd never need to protect yourself but... I don't want it, I'm not sure what to do with it, really.
no subject
Uh,
No, no, you should hold onto it. It might come in handy someday.
no subject
I can't believe how long we've been here now... It's getting hard to keep track.
no subject
And it's been too long. Way too long for how little progress we've made. [she opens her mouth to continue, then glances at the front of the room, pressing her lips together instead]
no subject
[and he glances over when she does, looking curious.] Is everything ok, Ema?
no subject
...Don't worry about it. And...take it or give it away, but don't toss it. That's wasteful.
no subject
[He shakes his head] I won't, though I'm not sure how to say here, do you want the knife I just pulled out of my arm? [...] Well, besides how I said it to you. Sorry, that was a strange thing to do, wasn't it? [what a long, weird day] Maybe Heiji will want it, he's seems to be starting a collection of strange things.
no subject
[it was almost--sweet, if that was a thing you could say about awkwardly offering weaponry that had injured you to a friend, but-- whatever, that was just stupid. being stuck here for a week and a half must be making her punchy]
...Could use it to try making a tunnel.
no subject
... well, that certainly has an old movie prison sort of charm to it. [He regards the tiny, stupid knife for a moment before placing it to the side with a sigh, fiddling with the edge of his dumb tie bandaging because nerves.] You know I've been thinking, how big could this warehouse possibly be? How many more rooms could he have like these puzzle rooms? He's going to run out sometime.
no subject
no subject
[He glances around] I can't say I've noticed anything like that. The closest was that Jake was able to break the cabinet in that puzzle room with no repercussions.

[He shifts his arm back down for now, thoughtful.] It's not like it would take too long either, this place seems smaller and smaller the longer we spend here.
